My home is filled with loving details, comfort and style. I have a passion for creating a warm, inviting environment where guests feel welcome and cared for. I am a native Oregonian and have an obsession with the local food scene, having been a chef at some amazing restaurants in town. I have a wealth of knowledge about what makes Portland special and have to say first and foremost it is the people. We are friendly and genuine and take a sincere interest in learning about others.

About the Room:
The room is so sweet and comfortable and it is one of my favorite rooms in the house. It has an Empire European bed that is cool and loaded with pillows and comfort (a hypo-allergenic custom made mattress), a comfy chair to read in, loads of books to read and botanical details. There is a shared bathroom on this floor that is equally charming.

I have additional towels, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer available if desired.

*Please note that everyone who has stayed here has stated the bed looks much smaller in the photos than in person in case that helps, it is 73" long.

About the House:
The house has a formal living room, formal dining room, casual kitchen nook and kitchen which is filled with the basics. Feel free to use the microwave, toaster and fridge as you need and there is an additional fridge/freezer in the basement as well. The professional induction stove and convection oven require an understanding for their use to prevent damage so not for general use. There is an awesome front load washer / dryer set in the basement. The backyard is really nice as I love to garden and have a three raised beds for growing veggies and herbs that you are more than welcome to enjoy. Internet is available but I do not subscribe to cable TV.

I have to say, one of the things I forget to mention but that I adore is having amazing water pressure with an unending supply of hot water. It is an amenity that should not be overlooked :).

All of the home amenities are available though I have the upstairs of the home also listed on airbnb and it may be unavailable for their privacy. I ask consideration be given to maintaining a clean and clutter free environment to respect others in my home. Additional day guests to my home may be discussed but overnights are not allowed unless already discussed.

I am very social and enjoy building relationships but also respect privacy - I am really good about being flexible and creating unique experiences.

Burlingame is one of the few areas that has maintained its gracious charm and timeless elegance over the decades. A favorite among those wanting to remain close to downtown with the added benefit of lush greenery and neighborhood feel. Burlingame is adjacent to two main shopping areas - Hillsdale and Multnomah Village and has great places to dine, shop and drink nearby. Like most Southwest neighborhoods, this is a charming area with a mix of residential and business areas with a strong sense of local community.

Nearby are Lewis & Clark College, OHSU, Veterans Hospital, PCC - and many places to shop and dine in between.

Tryon Creek is an amazing park nearby filled with trails where you can explore 658 acres of second-growth forests, walk along the meandering Tryon Creek, and connect with the flora and fauna that call this special place home.

For 420 interested - options abound nearby that include Nectar in Burlingame, Attis Trading Company, Little Amsterdam, Human Collective and Marijuana Paradise.

I am also close to Tigard, Beaverton and access to arteries that can get you to other neighborhoods quickly.

The bed is best suited for someone shorter than 6' and ideal for someone 5'9" or shorter. I am 5'10 and sleep comfortably and have had men 6' sleep well in the bed but I believe they are side sleepers :).
