SunderLand Cottages on Paradox Lake, Adirondacks

Owned and managed by the Sunderland family for 69 years, SunderLand Cottages lend themselves to family reunions, vacations with friends, times with your loved one or family to connect with nature and one another, in the comfort of one of our cozy, fully-equipped cottages. A member of the friendly Sunderland family lives on site to greet you, answer questions, recommend local sites, and make sure that you are comfortable. Each cottage is unique and fully furnished; Edgewood has a ramp and wide doors to accommodate a wheel chair. Each cottage has a view of the lake, and some are so close that one could toss a pebble from the deck into the water!
Around Paradox are countless hiking trails, beautiful places to swim, fish, and boat on lakes, ponds, and rivers. Nightly campfires on the beach for chatting with friends, old and new, making music together, roasting marshmallows, telling stories.
We are located close to many points of interest: historic Ticonderoga; Middlebury and Burlington, VT; the High Peaks of the Adirondacks, including Lake Placid and the Olympic Village; Lake George. You may enjoy a rafting adventure on the headwaters of the Hudson River; a concert at the local Seagle Music Colony; exploration at Stone Bridge and Caves or Ausable Chasm, shopping at a local farmer's market, or touring a local farm or fish hatchery.
