Looking toward the back of the house in the summer.The french doors of Suite 19 are at Garden level, center. While the suite gets plenty of light, because it is positioned under our upper deck, it is protected from the summer sun in the heat of the day and remains relatively cool.The structure in the far left is the outdoor shower with its own patio. Getting around

Transportation is needed to get to Suite19. There is a bus from Boston Logan to Portsmouth but since Covid Uber (taxi) is less predictable. In short a car is helpful to get to Kittery. However, once you’ve arrived our location is within walking distance to downtown Portsmouth (across the bridge) and the Kittery Foreside.

My husband Cameron and I love being hosts. I work in philanthropy and Cam is a research climate scientist and professor at UNH. We have travelled the world and experienced gracious hospitality in very diverse places. When people visit our community we are excited to share tips on or favorite places and engage with visitors so they have the best experience possible. However, we do all we can to respect our guests' privacy. We love to garden, sail, hike, and I am an enthusiastic cook. If something is ripe in the garden I am always happy to share. We have an off-the-grid place in the Maine mountains where go frequently so we are not always on site. Our long term tenants Sarah and Craig are back up hosts when we are away, and we are always reachable by phone/text. We love animals, and have both a cat and a dog. The suite is pet free only because it is hypoallergenic for visiting family members with allergies. We are dedicated to using organic products, sustainable energy, and gardening organically. You won't find much in the way of disposable items in the suite.
