LazyBearTime is our cozy mountain getaway perfect for couples or small families with the best outdoor family-friendly activities Big Bear has to offer year-round. Cabin amenities include a BBQ grill & hot tub on a large deck surrounded by pine trees on a very quiet street. A wood-burning fireplace, a horseshoe pit, board games, and a selection of DVDs are available for all to enjoy. Holloways Marina is a short walk away. The Village is 1.5 miles away while the slopes are just a short drive. The vaulted ceilings and open floor plan along with a large sectional sofa next to the wood-burning fireplace is a great place to relax and warm yourself up on cold winter days. The large deck area with its private hot tub and grill is ideal for spending time together outdoors. This charming cabin is in a very quiet and serene location. It sits on a 1/4 acre lot and is the perfect spot for a small family or group of friends next trip to Big Bear. The cabin is located just a few blocks from the southern shore of Big Bear Lake. During summer, the lake is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and boating. The wooded areas around the lake are great for hiking and mountain biking. Big Bear Lake Village is 1.5 miles away and offers a variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. When winter arrives, great skiing can be found on the slopes at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Ski Resorts, both are less than a 5-mile drive from the home.

**PETS**
We are a pet-free cabin. Having an animal would create a health and safety hazard for my family. It is a huge safety concern as my child has allergies. Our guests requested pet-free cabins. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

****HOT TUB****
If the hot /spa becomes non-operational at any time during your stay at Lazy Bear Lodge will do our very best to repair it or contact the owner's service company to repair it in a timely manner, for you. Lazy Bear does NOT offer any guarantees, refunds, or compensation if non-operational during your stay.

***A $200.00*** minimum charge for the spa/hot tubs requiring draining, cleaning, and refill due to bacteria. Additional charges for filters if needed. Never use soaps, shampoo, bubble baths, or any product that creates suds as this can cause damage to the spa/hot tub. The chemical balance of the spa/hot tub is constantly measured and changed due to alcohol, urine, cleaning materials, lotions, etc., and can easily trigger the necessity for a drain, refill and scrub.

**BOOKINGS**
We request that the guest that is booking be 21+ years old.

**SECURITY SYSTEM**
The cabin is equipped with a Ring camera in the front. They are used during check-in, check-out, and security only. We respect your privacy during your time at the cabin.

**PARKING**
Please plan accordingly, our cabin is licensed for two cars to be parked in the driveway. This may change depending on how large your vehicle is. There is no parking or additional parking nearby.

**WINTER TRAVEL**
During the winter months, 4x4 chains may be needed to enter the Big Bear area. Our guests should check the weather forecast and road conditions before heading up.

**KITCHEN SPACE**
The kitchen is equipped with all the pots, pans, crockpots, toasters, blenders, coffee makers, Keurig, utensils, plates, and glasses you will need. We even have beer mugs or wine glasses for you to enjoy. We have the basic spices and cooking oil as well. Cooking and cleaning utensils for the grill are also provided. Just bring the food!

**FIREPLACE/HEATER**
The wood-burning fireplace is fully functional and will keep you warm on the coldest of nights. Grab some firewood from a local gas station or grocery store and enjoy an evening in front of the fire. No need to clean up the ashes. Our cleaning staff will take care of the cleanup! If you're not in the mood for a fireplace our central heater will keep you warm!

**BEDROOMS**
We have 2 bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each. Our mattresses have a super comfortable gel mattress topper and are fitted with comfy sheets and linens. Our cleaning staff will wash bedding upon checkout so no need to clean up. Each bedroom has a smart TV that is able to stream Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, YouTube, or log on to your own streaming account. Each bedroom comes with a closet and dresser for ample storage on longer stays. So unpack and stay a while!

**BATHROOM**
The shared bathroom has a modern feel to it. There are plenty of extra towels and are stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

**ENTERTAINMENT/WIFI**
Our cabin is Wi-Fi-enabled. Our large Smart TV has Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and YouTube ready. For Amazon Prime, you will have to log into your own account. We also have classic board games or a selection of DVDs for a fun night with family and friends.

**DECK/BACKYARD**
Our large deck is right off of the dining/kitchen area. It has a picnic table, a 4-seat table, 2 umbrellas, a gas grill, a hot tub (spa towels available), and a 4-person sitting area in front of the cabin. The deck is surrounded by tall pine trees. It sits on a 1/4 acre lot. There is one of Big Bear's biggest trees growing through the front deck! A must-see. The backyard is quiet and large surrounded by tall Pine trees. Perfect spot to read a book or enjoy mother nature.

**TRASH**
Because of our location in the mountains and the local critters that live there, all trash must be taken with you to the Clean Bear Site at 41970 Garstin Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Each bag left on the property is subject to a $50 penalty/deduction from your security deposit. (this is the fee cleaning staff will charge us for disposal) Dumping your trash anywhere else will forfeit your entire security deposit. Big Bear has a $1000 fine for littering, please keep our community clean and safe for the local wildlife.

PLEASE NOTE: 3%-BBLTBID (tourism) is included in the nightly rate. PLEASE BE ADVISED A $400.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE HELD IN CASE OF ANY DAMAGES TO THE CABIN OR VIOLATIONS OF THE HOUSE RULES.
