Sky Hawk Chalet - Hiawassee

With its scenic setting on the shores of Lake Chatuge amid the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, the small city of Hiawassee, Georgia, is home to a large number of outdoor attractions. The city's moniker, which comes from the Cherokee word for "meadow," gives only a hint of the nearby natural wonders. Among them are Brasstown Bald -- at 4,784 feet above sea level, Georgia's highest mountain -- along with numerous hiking trails, scenic overlooks and tumbling waterfalls. Many of the mountain cascades are a short drive south, midway between Hiawassee and the neighboring towns of Blairsville and 30 min to Helen.

All of this and more are near Sky Hawk Chalet. The main chalet has a large spacious master bedroom with bunk beds located in the loft upstairs. The guest house has a single bed with a trundle and it's own bathroom and shower…The best part, you get both spaces when you stay! The coffee nook is great for your morning coffee on the large screened in porch with mountain and lake views. Guest house has a mini fridge, standard coffee maker and all you need for coffee, and a sink.

There is ample parking on the rear entrance of the home. There is one parking space at the front entrance on Morgan Rd-- drive past the home and turn left on Morgan Rd and you will see the front entrance.

Security Deposit
The security deposit is not counted in the total. The deposit is $300.00. This is fully refundable and not a charge just a temporary hold placed on the card 2 days before arrival and released 4 days after departure as long as there have been no damages. The deposit is through our company Southern Charm Vacay and not through the booking. You will see all info in the emails from help@southerncharmvacay that will be sent to you upon booking.
