Skærven Historic Beachfront Apartment D - Nyborg

Skærven is a beloved landmark in Nyborg, Denmark located right on the beach. It is conveniently located right in the middle of Denmark just over the big belt bridge. It was designed in the 1930's by a famous Danish architect, August Kolding who designed several homes in Nyborg. The house started out as a restaurant and there was a little train station with the name of Skærven that brought people from all over Denmark to the beach. The bigger part of Skærven was built in 1933 because of about 4000 people enjoying the beach during the Summer time. It started off as a large restaurant and ballroom where people would spend the day on the beach, eat dinner at the restaurant and dance the night away in the ballroom. Then it became a vacation resort for children with diabetes where every Summer they would teach them how to control and manage their disease. The next owner was a chef and there were several restaurants that came and went throughout the years. They also built the 3 apartments when he bought the property.

We currently are renting the 3 apartments and a cottage. All have their own layout and are completely unique in character. They do each have stunning views. Each apartment and the house have 2 bedrooms and room for 5-6 people.The size of the apartments are around 73 meters each and the house is 105 meters. They all have dining and living rooms, fully equipped kitchens, dishwashers and bathrooms with showers and washing machines. The house has a washer and dryer in the basement. The views of the sunrise over the bridge in the morning are extraordinary and worth waking up for. You will feel at home here. We are updating the property piece by piece. As you can imagine, it is a lot of work for 2 people so progress is slow and steady. This is a family run business and we put all our love into our property.
