About us:
At Terrys Beach Rentals we believe in treating our guests like family and look forward to building a relationship and doing business with you for many years.

"SIT N SEA" is the name we came up with for this 4th Floor Unit with a breathtaking view located in the Island Winds West building on west beach in Gulf Shores Alabama !! We picked this unique name because this unit is so close to the beautiful gulf waters that you can see the dolphins playing from the balcony. One of our favorite things to do while we are there is to sit on the balcony in the mornings drinking coffee looking out into the sea and watching the dolphins play. Usually you can see them playing in the early mornings and evenings.

Island Winds west condominium is a low density condo and is right on the sugar white sandy beach and is located 1/4 mile west of Gulf Shores Pkwy on West Beach Blvd and is centrally located in Gulf Shores and close to grocery stores, restaurants, water parks, amusement parks and golf courses. The condo is walking distance to many restaurants and souvenir shops.

Island Winds West also has a beach-side pool with a separate kiddie pool for a relaxing pool experience while looking at the beautiful view. There is also a small fitness room located on the second floor and a BBQ area with picnic tables close to the pool area.

The balcony offers a breathtaking direct ocean view. and is accessed through the living room.

This 2 Bedroom/ 2 Bath unit was completely remodeled (spring 2018) with high-end finishes that include:

A fully remodeled, upgraded Kitchen with everything needed to make this condo your home away from home. It has brand new white cabinets offset with a dark granite counter top and a beachy tiled back-splash complemented with stainless steel appliances and is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for your family.

Both bathrooms were completely remodeled with white cabinets offset with dark granite counter tops that match the kitchen.

Master Bedroom has a king size bed with a Serta pillow-top mattress and a wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV. The view from the master is awesome!!!

The second bedroom has a queen size and a twin size bed that both have Serta pillow-top mattresses and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The second bathroom is only accessible from this bedroom.

The Living Room has a 55" wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV, a love-seat and a matching queen size sleeper sofa bringing the sleeping capacity in this unit to 7 guests.

The exterior of the building went through a $3.4 million remodel (Fall 2017) and there are now floor to ceiling windows with a sliding door in the living room that leads out to the balcony so the view that has always been great is now better than ever!!

There is a full sized stacked washer and dryer in this unit that has been properly vented and a new (2017) HVAC unit so humidity in this unit will not be an issue.

All of the mattresses in this unit are pillow top Serta mattresses and we only use luxurious linens so when you slip into bed you'll be able to relax and get a good nights sleep.

This unit has tile floors throughout.

NOTE: The HOA charges $25 per parking pass that you will have to pay for at the time of check in at the Island Winds East building next door at the front desk located on the west side under the building by the pool. You may purchase up to 2 parking passes for this unit. During special events the HOA reserves the right to limit each unit to 1 parking pass. The HOA requires guests to pay them directly for parking passes therefore it IS NOT included in your quote. The price of parking passes is regulated by the HOA and prices are subject to change at the HOA discretion.

SPECIAL NOTES:
I strongly recommend that you purchase a travel insurance policy to protect your vacation investment. I WILL NOT approve a refund for any cancellation outside of the cancellation range for any unforeseen circumstances such as a family emergency, inclement weather, beach closures for any reason or hurricanes. Please make sure the travel insurance plan you select covers hurricane evacuations.

What we supply
One round of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, one trash bag in each can, dish washing detergent, and laundry detergent is provided; please bring extras. The condo is fully furnished and includes bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, equipped kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, range, toaster, blender and coffee maker). The condo is re-provisioned each year at the beginning of the rental season; however, we make no guarantee that all items will remain in the condo during your rental. My wife and I have 2 children and we vacationed at a beach somewhere every year for the last 18 years. We fell in love with the Gulf Shores area and decided to invest in some condos there. We are looking forward to building an ongoing relationship with our guests to become their go to place for their vacation needs.

Policies and Rules

Door codes are unique to each reservation therefore you will recieve an email with your door codes and detailed check in instructions 5 days prior to checking in.

Payment Policy
The charge will appear as Terrys Beach Rentals on your account statement.
50% due at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the check in date.
Reservations made less than 60 days from the check in date will require full payment to secure the reservation.
Refundable Damage Deposit
Returned within 7 days of checking out
Cancellation Policy
60 days or more 100% refund
30 days or more 50% refund
No refunds for any reason on reservations cancelled less than 30 days from the check in date.
House Rules
Guests will receive an email after the reservation has been made requesting the following information:

1. A complete guest list of everyone that will be occupying the unit anytime during your stay.
2. A copy of a state issued photo ID matching the name on the credit card used to make any payment.
3. There will be a link in the email that you must click on to esign a copy of the rental agreement.

Guests WILL NOT be allowed to access the unit until ALL required information has been provided. Since the door codes are unique for each reservation the door code and check in instructions will not be sent until 5 days prior to your check in date unless otherwise requested. Guests WILL NOT receive their unique door code until ALL of the requested information has been received. Guests who are unable to access the unit due to door codes and check in instructions being withheld due to the required information not being completed are NOT eligible for a refund.

Guests are expected to be mindful of other guests staying in the building. Do not disturb other guests.

No pets are allowed.

This is a non smoking unit. Smoking is not allowed in the unit. You can smoke on the balcony. It is expected that you dispose of all cigarette butts properly.

We rent only to adults 25 years of age or over who will be occupying the premises.
