Overview

This corner marina front walk-in level condo was the 'builder's unit' meaning it was retained by the builder-developer as his own due to the location. I figure the builder was a pretty good judge of the best location. Dominica building features the shortest distance (approx 1100 feet) to the beach with the least vertical climb (25 feet +/-)
The Village property looks great! The island is still recovering from the devastating dual hurricanes of 2017 but all repairs are done at Sapphire Village. The pools are open and the restaurant has been remodeled. Beach is recovering quickly Beach Bar is open. Red Hook (1 mile away) is open except for 2 restaurants so that leaves 20 to choose from. Roads are open and improving weekly, there are still some rough spots. Cost-U-Less reopened in November of 2019.
Close to beach, office, pool, restaurant, lending library, outdoor shower, mailroom, marina services, and laundry. Close to everything but still quiet.

Free private in-condo high-speed wireless network. I-pod dock and Bluetooth stereo speakers, flat-screen Hi-def TV.
This corner/end unit is especially nice because nobody will be disturbing you by walking by your door. End unit porches also have a side window for more light and airflow.

Our dual air conditioned walk-in level condo sleeps four with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a pullout queen in the living area. Nicely appointed kitchen and open dining area.

Sapphire village offers two pools, one just steps from your door alongside the NEW RESTAURANT FOR 2019 - Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grill. The marina offers almost every Water Sport under the sun from BVI or sunset cruise to fishing, para-sailing. Popular charter options include Yachts:, Breakaway, New Horizons and New Horizons II or choose a half or full-day fishing charter with Double Header or on Abigail III with Captain Red Bailey.

Red hook is less than a mile down the road with boutiques, numerous restaurants, a grocery store and the ferry to nearby St. John.

Summers are a great time to visit, crowds are light, the beaches are delightful and the weather is near perfect. Even in the heat of summer, the V.I. has never recorded a temperature above 99 degrees. Give the V.I. a visit in the offseason, you won't regret it.

One car per unit is available with a free permit issued by the office. The security gatehouse will issue a temporary permit for guests arriving after office hours or on weekends.

Early check-in/out may be allowed if a) it's available and b) it's requested at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. FYI in many cases at a minimum, we often allow luggage to be stowed early/late, please just ask

Payment Policy
50% to confirm, balance 30 days in advance, $300 security deposit is based on check-out date and may be held either as cash or be posted as an "authorization only" hold on your CC depending on the length of stay.
Refundable Damage Deposit
Damage deposits are refunded within a week or sooner if requested. Sometimes I need a reminder because I'm not as young as I once was.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations 60-day advance. Within the 60-day window 50% or less. I use a written agreement which spells out the details.
Notes
This is a mixed-use condo property. It is occupied by vacationing visitors and there are also full-time residents (some with children). We all like to enjoy ourselves but it is not a loud party place so please be respectful

A temp permit will be issued at the gatehouse if you arrive on weekends or after hours.

Getting around

A rental car is suggested. I have a buddy who rents older model cars, cash only, let me know if interested. Taxis are nearby and responsive but if you are active they will quickly cost as much as a rental car. The property is located on the Safari Bus route. It is what many of the local people use to get about. It's privately run by independent drivers during daylight hours only. They run clockwise around the east end to Tutu where you can pick up another to get to town. There is no schedule. I use them in emergencies only or on the rare occasion that my buddy needs a few days to secure me a car. If this is your first visit or you are active please consider renting a car.
