Come and enjoy your oasis from home.This urban oasis is in the heart of it all. Relax and enjoy yourself in this top floor, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with stunning views. Located in the Besso neighborhood, this conveniently located apartment is a two minute walk from the Central Train Station, and a five to ten minute walk to the center of Lugano, the Lake, all restaurants, coffee shops, museums, grocery stores, attractions and more. For those who enjoy hill walking, there are lovely trails just minutes away. Explore Lugano's many historic churches, the house of Herman Hess or take in the calm of the quiet nearby hills from your very own home away from home. The apartment has a 10 Square meter balcony from which to enjoy a coffee at sunrise or a glass of wine at sunset. Perfect for couples or solo travelers, this apartment can also accommodate up to four people with a proper sofa bed. Walking is the best way to get around, but the bus stop is one minute away, and you can just walk down the street to the Central Station for a taxi or the bus terminal that will get you just about anywhere in Switzerland, Northern Italy or an easy connection to the Malpensa International Airport. If you prefer, there is an electric bike app service. This tastefully designed, new home has a modern vibe and was newly furnished in January 2020. The apartment is fully equipped with high speed wifi, 300 TV channels, Washer and Dryer, A/C, and a new kitchen with a full size refrigerator; dishwasher, toaster, microwave, induction stovetop and oven. The Living Room has a 50" Samsung Smart TV. You can expect to have the essentials upon arrival: salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, tea, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and laundry detergent. As well as a wardrobe in the bedroom, there is a large built-in closet in the hallway. There is a marble bathroom with an extra large shower. A spacious balcony with chairs and table overlooks the lake and mountains. For short stays, a private underground car park is available for an additional fee of CHF 30 per day. If you haven't already done so with your reservation, upon arrival you will be asked to show your documents (passport or ID) for registration to the local police. This is compulsory, in accordance with the laws on hospitality. Your data will be treated in accordance to the privacy laws of Switzerland. Failure to comply with this obligation will constitute a violation of the law and we will be authorized to ask you to leave the premises, with no refund of your reservation.
Early check in is available for an additional fee of CHF 30.

HOUSE RULES 1) HAVE A GOOD TIME! 2) ACCORDING TO SWISS LAW ONLY THE SPECIFIC GUESTS NOTED IN THE BOOKING ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. A VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDATE REMOVAL OF ALL GUESTS AND ANY VISITORS FROM THE PROPERTY WITHOUT A REFUND. IF THERE IS A DISTURBANCE WITH MORE THAN THE OCCUPANTS SPECIFIED IN THE LISTING, A SFR 30 PER GUEST FINE WILL BE CHARGED. 3) GUESTS MUST COMMUNICATE WITH HOST PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. 4) NO PARTIES WITHIN THE HOME OR THE PREMISES. 5) COSTS TO REPLACE ANY LOST OR DAMAGED KEY ARE SFR 150 PER KEY. 6) WE WANT ALL OF OUR GUESTS TO BE RESPECTFUL OF NEIGHBORS AND SHALL KEEP NOISE TO A MINIMUM. PLEASE USE THE MAKEUP REMOVAL MOIST TOWLETS PROVIDED IN BATHROOM CABINET. GUESTS ARE NOT TO WASH LAUNDRY BELONGING TO THE HOME IN ORDER TO HIDE STAINS. HOUSEKEEPING WILL WASH ALL THE LAUNDRY. UN-SALVAGEABLE LINENS/BATH TOWELS WILL BE CHARGED TO THE GUEST. 8) NO EATING OF FOOD IN BEDROOM. 9) A SFR 250 PENALTY PER DAY WILL BE INCURRED IF ANY SIGN OR SMELL OF SMOKE IS ENCOUNTERED AFTER THE GUEST CHECKS OUT. CIGARETTE MONITORS ARE INSTALLED AND THE HOST WILL BE REMOTELY NOTIFIED WHEN SMOKE IS PRESENT. 10) FURNITURE IS NOT TO BE RE-ARRANGED. YOU WILL FIND BINS DOWN THE HILL ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE TRAIN STATION. THERE ARE SEPARATE BINS FOR PAPER, GENERAL TRASH AND PET BOTTLES. PLASTIC WRAPPINGS ARE DISPOSED OF WITH REGULAR TRASH. 14) ALL ITEMS IN THE KITCHEN INCLUDING SILVERWARE, POTS/PANS, SPICES, FLATWARE ETC. HAVE BEEN COUNTED AND ANY ITEM REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE GUEST. 15) AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE HOST, AN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE OF SFR 100 CAN BE CHARGED IF ADDITIONAL CLEANUP IS REQUIRED THAT GOES ABOVE THE STANDARD CLEANING. IF YOU DON’T LEAVE THE APARTMENT IN REASONABLE CONDITION, SIMILAR TO HOW YOU RECEIVED IT (NORMAL SOILED LAUNDRY AND HOUSEHOLD CLEANING EXCLUDED). IF RESTORATION COSTS MORE DUE TO SEVERE CLEANING OR DAMAGE, OR AFFECTS THE NEXT GUESTS’ CHECK IN, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COSTS OR LOST REVENUES FROM YOUR FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE RULES OR USE REASONABLE PRUDENT CARE.
