Residencias Reef Iguana Azul - Cozumel

The complex is on San Francisco beach, the longest sandy beach on the west side of the island. Snorkeling is good right off the beach - sand rays, star fish, fish of all kinds are regularly spotted.

Divers can be picked up at the dock right on the beach! We're so close to the dive sites, a 2-tank morning dive is often back by noon.

This condo is pretty perfect! It's the very best location in this great complex. First floor, corner next to the pool. 4 steps down and across 6 feet of grass and you are ON the beach!

The wrap-around patio (with hammock!) always has a breeze. The outdoor dining table is a great place for meals and just relaxing.

We try to keep the kitchen stocked with everything you need and some things you probably don't! You just buy food.

The living room has 2 comfy sofas and a big screen Smart TV with Dish. The TV is set up with a Netflix and Amazon account for streaming shows. There is an interesting collection of movies and music that has accumulated over the years, or bring your own DVDs to play in our surround sound system.

The beds have premium mattresses and high end bedding.

The master, with a view of the beach, has a king bed and its own TV and bathroom. Plenty of storage for making yourself at home. There's a desk for those that just can't completely leave work at home.

The 2nd bedroom can be a king sized bed or 2 twin-xl beds depending on what works for your group. It is really a suite of its own, with a bathroom and private deck overlooking the mangrove.

We have tons of beach/sand toys in the toy box and blow up toys for the pool or ocean. There are random masks and snorkels too for anyone to use. (recommend water shoes to get over the coral along the edge of the beach).

There are a couple of beach clubs about a 5 minute walk south down the beach where you can eat & drink, play on water toys, rent wave runners, get massages, all the fun stuff. Very convenient, but far enough that our beach stays pretty quiet.

The whole island is a magical place. The people are friendly, there are countless options for good food, fun music, and plenty of tours if you want to be active.

But we find it hard to leave the condo for days on end because the beach is so rejuvenating!
