Relax and enjoy The Red Barn Ranch while taking in the beautiful Mountain Views from this 4 acre property. This 6 bedroom, 4 bath home is great for family gatherings. The park-like setting includes an outdoor dinner corral, 2,200 sq ft Barn Game Room & Lounge, yard games, fire pit, bird garden, greenhouse & Outdoor Showers. Out the front and back gates are trails for hiking & mountain biking or perhaps stroll to a winery in the neighborhood. Nearby are beaches, golf courses and world famous Amusement Parks.

Get ready to enjoy a lazy afternoon on the Farmhouse porch as you take in the sounds of nature with our group. After a leisurely morning, spend the afternoon hiking on one of the many famous hiking trails nearby. Work up an appetite conquering Potato Chip rock and then settle into the afternoon with an invigorating swim in the pool. Or, visit the captivating golf course at Mt. Woodson Golf Club or San Vicente Resort and Golf Club. Many unique and wonderful wineries dot the neighborhood and offer many local estate wines that are like no other. From the house it is possible to stroll to Principe di Triscase, Hacienda de las Rosas, Cactus Star Vineyard and Woof'n Rose. There are more than 20 wineries located within a 10 mile radius, making wine tours and tasting adventures easily accessible. While Ramona feels like you are a world away from civilization, you are within a 40 minute drive of any and all of the attractions within the greater San Diego area. This is a lovely jumping off point to visit the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Lego Land, The Safari Park, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Del Mar and La Jolla Beaches, Coronado or apple picking in Julian. The house has been designed to offer a place for friends & families to gather and memories to be made.

*All guests must be declared on the reservation. For insurance purposes, guest “visitors” are not permitted on property without prior approval and payment of the day use fee.

*We provide 2 complimentary hours of hot tub for each night booked. Additional hours can be added for $25 per hour (cost of propane). The pool can be heated for an additional rate. Please inquire for details *takes 24 hours to heat*

Other things to note
Your hosts live on site, in a separate home, and within our own gated area. We are always available if something is needed but we like to give our guests their privacy to enjoy the property and all of the amenities privately. You may see us coming and going through our gate or perhaps, taking care of the birds or working in the vineyard.
