House Rules
1. Smoking is only permitted outside. Please do not smoke in the garage or inside - butts should be disposed of properly.

2. Pets (Read Pet Policy Below)

3. People other than those in the guest party may not stay overnight on the property.

4. Please take care when using the Hot Tub. No glassware should be used near the Hot Tub, please use the provided large plastic cups if you wish to drink in the Hot Tub. Bubbles, oils, or lotions will affect the balance of the Hot Tub and can cause serious damage to it. Please also ensure the bromine floater is put back in the water, and the Hot Tub lid is closed immediately after use. Please also set the temperature to 95 between uses, and 85 when leaving.

5. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities.

6. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.

7. Please take your shoes off upon entering the house and leave wet items (skis, boots) outside or in the garage.

8. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Do Not move any furniture and if you do, return it before you leave.

9. Only use appliances for their intended uses.

10. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included with the cabin, we suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin. A fee will be charged for any missing linens.

11. Wood burning stove: Please operate properly. NEVER USE LIGHTER FLUID! Make sure the draft is open before starting the fire (push all the way in) and make sure it is closed when you check-out. Please make sure fire is cold (more than 12 hours) before emptying any ashes.

12. Water & Septic: Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time, and no food or grease put down the drain in the kitchen sink. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed or food down the drain and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of $100 or more.

13. Fire Pit: Make sure the fire is completely out before leaving it. Fire should be attended at all times. Do not remove used wood and put it back on the wood rack.

14. Garbage: All garbage is to be placed in the garbage cans in the garage. Do not place any loose garbage in the garage or garbage cans. ABSOLUTELY NO GARBAGE IS TO BE LEFT OUTSIDE FOR THE BEAR TO GET!

15 Please note we live in a mountain valley and noise does carry far. We ask that you respect this peaceful and quiet oasis in the mountains and our neighbors by keeping the noise at a reasonable volume past 10pm, especially loud music outside while in the hottub.

Pet Policy - A guest’s well behaved, house trained dog is welcome with prior approval.

Guests visiting with a dog must contact owner for prior approval and if accepted, agree to the following Pet Policy:

• Guest must provide dog bedding/crate and towels to wipe off wet paws and fur in the Garage. Cabin towels are NOT to be used for pets.

• Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.

• Dogs are NOT to be left at the cabin unattended.

• If guests’ dog sheds, please brush dog outside daily.

• Guests must pick up after their dog and discard waste properly. Plastic bags can be found in the pantry.

• Dogs are NOT allowed to be washed in the bathtub or showers. Guests may use the garden hose and spigot in the garage for such purpose on the downsloping driveway only.

• Guests are responsible for cleaning up any “accidents” their dog has caused inside. Please notify us of any accidents or damage.

• Guests are required to pay for any damage their dog causes.
