Hello! Welcome to our direct booking listing. Booking with us on Houfy means there are no additional platform fees. The only extra fee you'll find is the cleaning fee, which goes directly to our staff.

The home is not child-proofed but our little guests have all had a fantastic time. We ask that you never leave children unattended inside or outside at any time.

Parking Included

Four parking spots are available. One-car garage; other vehicles can park in our sand driveway. No street parking is allowed. Tesla charger available in the garage.

Not Wheelchair Accessible

Narrow bathroom doors. Entryway is gravel. Backyard not easily accessible in wheelchair.

Getting around

Getting around the neighborhood is very easy because all our roads are paved. We will send you location details so that you can find our home easily. Our driveway is sand, so please keep this in mind when you park. We are able to accommodate up to 4 vehicles, 1 of which can be parked inside the garage. Inside the garage, there is a Tesla charger for your convenience and a foosball table for your entertainment.

Kathy and Patrick manage this home with love and care. We fell in love with California's Hi-Desert in 2020 and we're fortunate to be able to share this home with others. Patrick is a nature lover, wannabe drone photographer, and a coffee aficionado. He's a hiker during the day, and a real estate professional at night. Kathy is a full-time graduate student and loves being a part of guests' magical desert vacations. We both look forward to hosting you and helping you make your desert vacation truly memorable.

Policies and Rules

Self check-in with smart lock. All details will be provided the morning of check-in.

No parties or events

No parties or events. We love celebrating special occasions with you but the maximum number of guests is 7 and no unregistered guests or visitors are allowed on the property at any time.

No pets

Animals are completely prohibited due to severe allergies. This is a health and safety issue for us.

No smoking

Smoking, vaping, and hookah are not allowed inside our home. If you want to smoke outside, please do so within 30 feet from our home while keeping all windows and doors closed. Please, leave no butts behind!

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

Photo ID is required from all guests. This is required by the City of Twentynine Palms.

Maximum occupancy

Occupancy includes infants and children.

House Rules

- No smoking.

- Strict quiet hours start at 10:00pm.

- Be a good neighbor.

- No loud music, especially outdoors. Please do not use loud speakers for music outside. The desert is quiet and we want to be good neighbors :). Noise levels are remotely monitored with noise sensors.

- No glitter, confetti, or art projects.

- No open flames inside the house.

- All fire pit and hot tub instructions will be provided to guests in the rental agreement and must be followed. Please follow local guidance regarding backyard fires.

- No fireworks.

- No parties or events are allowed. We’re in a small quiet neighborhood. Let’s keep it that way :)

- Max 4 vehicles. If you need to bring more than 4 vehicles, please message us. The city does not allow street parking.

- Unregistered guests (additional overnight guests or visitors) cannot use the property at any time.

- No tampering with electrical, security devices such as security cameras, or internet service.

- Animals are absolutely prohibited. Several members of our team are extremely allergic and this presents a health and safety issue for us. Guests who bring animals without disclosing will be charged a penalty fee of $500.

- We expect our guests to treat this home with love and respect and to leave everything as they found it. Guests will be responsible for any necessary repairs or replacements.

- Violation to these rules will lead to fines and/or removal from the property without refund.

- Our city requires us to collect photo IDs and a signed rental agreement. Additional rules and expectations are outlined in the rental agreement.

Payment Policy

We currently accept payment via Zelle and PayPal. In the future, we hope to link a credit-card processor so that you can pay with your credit card.

Refundable Damage Deposit

We collect a $500 security deposit. This deposit will be returned if all house rules were followed by all guests and if there were no damages to the property.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.
