The house was designed after the historic US Coast Guard lifesaving stations typical of the eastern seaboard and provides stunning views from every window. It has been completely remodeled into a modern bay house perfect for enjoying all that the Northern Neck & the Chesapeake Bay has to offer.

The Details:
The main floor is accessed up one flight of stairs. A fully stocked kitchen is ready to cook meals and is open to the main living space. The laundry room is located off the kitchen and has a full-sized washer and dryer. The eating area has a dining table with four dining chairs and a dining bench, providing comfortable seating for six. A cozy seating area with a smart TV is adjacent to the dining space. Six sets of double doors lead from the main room to the wraparound deck. The main floor guest room features a king-sized bed with amazing views of Little Oyster Creek. There is an attached bathroom with a shower, note that this bath is also accessible from the main living space.

Two well-sized bedrooms with a shared full bathroom (with bathtub) are located off the living space. Spend the day exploring all the Northern Neck has to offer through fishing, crabbing, boating, or just relaxing along our expansive waterfront. Nearby towns of White Stone, Kilmarnock and Irvington have amazing options for dining and shopping. Golf Courses, wineries & breweries, and outdoor activities abound. We are happy to make suggestions for your trip! There is something perfect for everyone. Bring your own boat to put in at the nearby Windmill Point Marina and utilize our dock to discover the creeks, wildlife, and quaint towns that line the Chesapeake Bay. Boat Rentals are available nearby - ask us for more information!

We are so thrilled to host you and share this hidden gem. We know you will enjoy your time with us and take excellent care of our space. The following rules are designed to keep our place in great condition and result in our being able to give you a 5-star review of your stay. Please reach out right away if you have any issues or need anything. We can’t fix it if we do not know about it! The following rules were agreed to prior to booking: - No smoking of any kind. (vaping, cigarettes, cigars & marijuana) - No candles or fireworks. - Must be at least 25 years old to book. - Do not move furniture. - Do not park on the grass. Only park on the gravel driveway. - Immediately message me via the Airbnb platform of any issues or damage. - Additional Guests: No guests beyond the number of registered guests are permitted on the property unless discussed and approved prior. This is due to liability and insurance. Dog Rules: Your dog is welcome if it is well behaved, house-broken, and non-destructive. No other animals are permitted. Dogs must be discussed, approved, and paid for in advance. - A maximum of two dogs are welcome with an additional animal fee ($75 per stay). - Dogs may not be left alone in the house at any time, unless crated. - Dogs must always be on a leash, or under control of verbal or sight commands that they follow at all times. - Dogs must be house broken. Please walk your dog outside for bathroom needs. Indoor piddle pads are not allowed. Please clean up and bag defecations immediately. Dispose in the trash can next to the garage. - Dogs must be fully dried prior to bringing into the house. Dog towels are provided in the basket in the downstairs entryway. - Animals are not allowed on the furniture, or beds, at any time. This is for the cleanliness and comfort of our future guests. Excessive fur on furniture and/or undisposed of dog waste will incur an additional $100 cleaning fee.No smokingNo parties or eventsCheck-in is 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

We love dogs! Your dog is welcome if it is well behaved, house-broken, and non-destructive. Two dogs is our limit. Dogs must be discussed in advance. If you choose to board your dog locally, we can help connect you to nearby establishments. Our house is child friendly, but not child proof. Please be mindful of your children at all times. Be aware that this house is VERY near water. Use caution when using the dock. Paddleboards and kayaks will be available for your use. Swimming and use of any watercraft are at your own risk. Guests are required to wear lifejackets when using any watercraft. By finalizing the booking, you are agreeing to hold the host harmless for use of boats, watercraft and/or swimming area. No refunds or discounts will be offered due to circumstances outside our control, including utility/internet outages, weather events, or travel issues. We advise all travelers to purchase travel insurance. Please note that this home is surrounded by nature. If you leave food out and/or doors open then bugs or animals (especially fiddler crabs!), may find their way in and make themselves at home. We do frequent preventative pest control, but we need you to do your part to ensure our home stays pest-free. We do not give refunds for bugs and/or animals found in or outside of the property. Guests are expected to read & be willing to follow all House Rules. By finalizing the booking, you are confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to all House Rules.
