Recently renovated, this beautiful 2 bed/2 bath condo has all the amenities beach visitors are looking for, and more.

Nestled in the beach and tennis resort complex of Sea Colony, guests can access the privately guarded beach, 5 oceanfront pools, 2 indoor pools, dozens of indoor and outdoor tennis courts, walking trails, kayak and fishing ponds, and 2 fitness centers. During summer stays there are also nightly beach activities hosted by the resort including bonfires, movies, sand-sculpting contests and more. This condo offers a unique experience for visitors who want to take full advantage of outdoor and beach activities, but also appreciate the solitude of the beach from a front-row seat overlooking the sand and surf from the comfort of the living room.

What we supply
Owner supplies basic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and starter supplies of toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, trash bags, and paper towels intermittently during the summer. Guests are asked to replenish supply when they use the last of something.

Policies and Rules

You will need to go directly to the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe and show your rental agreement to purchase your recreation and parking passes for your stay. All guests older than 4 years old must purchase a pass. The passes are $40/person for the week. Once you get your parking pass, you will exit north onto Route 1, turn right on Jefferson Bridge Road, and come into the complex to the guard's station. You will then veer to the right and park underneath the Chesapeake building in spot 405 near the very end of the covered parking area, near the elevator.

Payment Policy
In order to avoid fees associated with payment processing, I prefer Venmo or checks. However, I do accept credit cards upon request.
Refundable Damage Deposit
Guests will need to send a $250 security deposit to cover potential damages. Guests are required to notify the owner immediately if damage occurs so the damage can be rectified prior to the arrival of the next guest. If no damage occurred, the deposit will be returned within 14 days of your stay upon inspection of the property.
Cancellation Policy
The first payment of 50% rental total is due in order to secure the reservation. The remaining 50% is due no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date. No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 30 days before the arrival date. For cancellation requests more than 30 days from the arrival date, the owner will make every effort to rent the property during the stay period and if a new renter is found, the first payment will be refunded. If no renter can be found, the first payment will not be refunded. NO refunds will be given for weather related reasons.
Notes
•Expected Treatment of Property: The Tenant agrees to leave the premises in clean and orderly condition and must comply with all aspects of all rental ordinances in effect. The Tenant shall not sublet the premises without written consent of the Renting Agent. The Tenant affirms that s/he is an adult with an age of at least 25 years, and that the premises will not be occupied by minors below the age of 25 years unless an adult is present and responsible. The Tenant agrees to personally occupy the premises as a private residence only with a maximum number of people limited to nine. Tenant shall be financially responsible for any damages done or for any extra cleaning required caused by himself, his family or guest. Property will be inspected after each tenancy. Tenant will report any and all damages incurred during the rental period directly to the Owner. No beach equipment shall be left in the exterior hallway, doorway, or brought into the unit.

•Linens: Sheets are provided by a linen service prior to east guest’s arrival. Guest is responsible for stripping beds and leaving dirty sheets in laundry bag in kitchen by front door prior to departure. Guest will be charged for missing linens.

•Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm to 8am per HOA rules.

•Liability Waiver: Neither the owner, nor Sea Colony shall be liable for any injuries, accidental or otherwise, to a person or property of the tenants/occupants during the term of this agreement. It is also understood that the owner isn’t responsible for any property the tenant leaves in the unit.

•No animals of any kind are permitted. Violation shall bring immediate eviction and forfeiture of full rental payment.

•STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY: No Smoking in the unit, on the balcony, or on the walkway in front of the unit. Violators will be subject to a $500 charge and immediate termination of this agreement.

•Parking: A maximum of two parking permits will be allowed. Illegal parking is subject to towing. Trucks, trailers, boats, motor homes, and any other recreational vehicles are prohibited.

•Barbeque grills are not permitted.

•Reasonable Access: Tenant fully agrees to allow Owner (or their Agent) to enter premises at any reasonable time for either inspection or repair purposes. Every effort will be made for the cleaning of the condo and necessary repairs to be completed prior to check in.
House Rules
House Rules for 405 Chesapeake

1. Check-in and Check-Out times are firm in order to accommodate needed cleaning and maintenance. Please respect them.

2. Please treat our home as you would treat your own. If you have unexpected damage or an issue occur, please contact me immediately. Please leave the unit like you’d like to find it. My goal is for this to be the best vacation rental you’ll ever have.

3. Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED.

4. Absolutely NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE CONDO OR ON BALCONY.

5. All guests must have a Sea Colony Recreation Badge. Please see the Rental Agreement for details on where to purchase them.

6. Noise ordinances are in place throughout the complex between 9pm -8am. Please observe.

7. Please place any and all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it upon leaving the house at check-out.

8. Please empty all trash cans and dispose of trash down the trash chute outside the front door across the hall at check-out and as needed.

9. A small recycle receptacle is under the sink for your convenience. Please empty it in the large bins by the basketball court prior to check-out.

10. Please do not bring beach equipment into the unit. There is a secure beach locker in the garage for your use. It is fully stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, pool noodles, and other outdoor equipment. Please rinse sand from your person before entering the unit.

11. Do not apply your spray sunscreen inside the condo – it can make the floors slippery. Please apply your sunscreen either outside on the balcony or by the pool. If you want to sit down before you wash it off, please put a towel between you and the furniture.

12. Bed linens are complimentary during your stay. However, the linen service will pick up dirty sheets at 11am on the day of your departure. You will need to strip the beds and place the dirty sheets in the provided container and place it by the front door in the kitchen so the linen service can retrieve the linens and leave new ones for the next guest.

13. Kitchen towels and bath towels will be available for your use. Towels are not to leave the unit for any reason. Beach towels are not provided. Please bring your own. We ask that you ensure all towels used during your stay are washed AND FULLY DRIED, folded, and put away for the next guest. Drying the towels completely is critical to prevent a musty smell.

14. Some paper products will likely be in the house when you arrive. You will need to supply your own paper plates and cutlery if desired. There should be, at the very least, a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, trash bags, dishwasher soap, and dishwashing liquid. Again, please replace if you use the last of something so the next guest has what they need as well.
