You have every imaginable option, with the Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood Airport (FLL) just minutes away, and numerous bus routes, trains and even a water taxi nearby. Then, once you get here, as our motto emphasizes, “Relax, you’re here…” Walking is the best way to get around LBTS – with all of our stores and restaurants within a five block area, a nice stroll is the easiest way to get around. The Pelican Hopper offers free shuttle transportation seven days a week around Lauderdale-By-The Sea at designated stops listed on the map and all BCT bus stops – NO WAVE AND RIDE. The route varies by day and time, so we encourage everyone to download the new app, as it will show all of the stops along the route, as well as give real time ETA for the bus. WATER TAXI The Water Taxi’s nearest stop to LBTS is south of Town, at Bokamper’s in Fort Lauderdale, just north of Oakland Park Blvd. on the Intracoastal Waterway. These bus routes operate seven days a week: Route 10 runs north/south along US1/Federal Blvd Route 11 (Copans to 14th Street in Pompano goes east to A1A; south on A1A to Las Olas; west on Las Olas to downtown Fort Lauderdale bus station and reverses) Route 55 (Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 94th Avenue to Northeast 41 Street and A1A via Commercial Boulevard and Bayview Drive and reverses) Route 72 (Sawgrass Mills Mall, Green Toad Entrance, to Northeast 41 Street and A1A, Galt Ocean Mile via Oakland Park Boulevard and reverses)
