Welcome to the Beer Shrine Cabin!
Enjoy this pet-friendly access point to the Mt. Baker recreation. It is walking distance from the North Fork Brewery (an award-winning microbrewery and restaurant), 3C Farms (wedding venue), and logging roads on Sumas Mountain for walking and ATVs. It is only 22 miles to Mt. Baker for excellent skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. The area is also well known for amazing day and overnight hiking trails for a variety of skill levels from a 1.4-mile loop just 4 miles away to a 10,000-foot climb up Mt. Baker. The 2-bedroom 1.5-bath space with the living room hide-a-bed. The cozy kitchen has custom cedar countertops, a French-door refrigerator, smooth-top range/oven, microwave, toaster, electric can opener, blender, and seating for six at the oak table. Although there is some noise from SR 542, the property has a large back deck with a propane BBQ and an 8,000-square foot fenced back yard (perfect for dogs) and no other homes within 400 feet. Heat and cool with the ductless AC system or build a fire in the wood stove. Other amenities include WIFI, cable TV service, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, a full-size washer/dryer, and oversized carport parking for two vehicles. This WIFI equipped, air conditioned, and pet-friendly (2-PETS MAXIMUM, No Exceptions), monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 4 to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

Glacier, WA is encompassed with the Mount Baker Recreation Area which is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don’t forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

Please Note: WIFI service is provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WIFI SERVICE fails to function properly.

FROM SEATTLE (WA): Take Interstate-5 (North) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn right at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 2-hours.

FROM VANCOUVER, B.C (Canada): Take Highway 99 (South) to the Peace Arch Crossing at the Canada / USA border exchange, then take Interstate-5 (South) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn left at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 1.5-hours.

All guests must stop at our office in Maple Falls. Here they will receive keys as well as location information. WHERE YOU CHECK IN: Mt. Baker Lodging Office 7425 Mt. Baker Highway Maple Falls, WA 98266-2002 Phone: 1-800-709-SNOW (7669) Hours: 9AM - 5PM PST DAILY, except holidays Please Note: For after hour check-ins, Guests will receive information on how to obtain keys and direction information from a lock-box.

Minimum age limit for renters: 21

The primary renter must be at least 23 years of age.

House Rules

1: Guests are expected to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitees actions, and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guest who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per written Guest Rental Agreement). 2: Quite times are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM 3: Housekeeping/maid services are not available during your stay.

Refundable Damage Deposit

A Damage Deposit is not required, however damages will be charged to the Guests credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is received a minimum of 21-days or greater prior to our guest(s) scheduled date of arrival, Mt. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment*; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount*.

*Unless the vacation property can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.

Winter Holiday Bookings and Cancellations – All bookings for the period of December 15 – January 2 require payment in full by December 1st. If cancelled on or prior to November 15th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater). From November 16th through November 30th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be forfeited unless the home(s) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply. On or after December 1st, guests will forfeit the entire rental amount unless the home(s) can be re-booked, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
