Play at the lake or enjoy the mountains at this gorgeous 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath cedar chalet featuring a lakeside deck and spectacular views of Silver Lake. Recent improvements inside and out make for an even more enjoyable family experience. The interior floor plan features a half bath, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a large living/dining area with new flooring, new leather seating, a wood burning fireplace, (firewood provided) and cathedral ceilings with expansive window areas. The master bedroom features its own private entrance plus 1-king sized bed, a freestanding gas fireplace, and a 3/4-bath ensuite. The second-floor features one bedroom with 1-king sized bed and 1-queen sized bed, another bedroom with 1-king sized bed, and an adjoining 3/4-bath. The exterior features a carport and a large wraparound deck with a gas grill and a private outdoor hot tub. A pathway with steps leads to a cleared sitting area and on to a floating deck at the water’s edge all make for a relaxing day on the lake. Don’t forget Fido! This pet-friendly and monitored family vacation property offers breathtaking views and will sleep 8 (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy).
NOW OPEN! We are very excited to announce that a previously inaccessible bottom floor remodel is now revealed! The newly remodeled area features a family room/games room equipped with a large flat screen monitor, a pool table, a freestanding gas fireplace to cozy up to, and sliding doors that lead to a second lower balcony that offers magnificent lakefront views…all making your stay that much more enjoyable.

Satellite and WIFI service is available at the cabin and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the satellite/WIFI systems fail to function properly.

PLEASE NOTE: This rural vacation home is located on an unimproved road that is not maintained by the county. While impassibility is infrequent, Winter Guests are strongly advised to prepare accordingly by utilizing 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles. No guarantees are expressed nor implied regarding road conditions, and refunds are not provided for circumstances that are beyond our control.

SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. FROM SEATTLE (WA): Take Interstate-5 (North) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn right at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 2-hours.

FROM VANCOUVER, B.C (Canada): Take Highway 99 (South) to the Peace Arch Crossing at the Canada / USA border exchange, then take Interstate-5 (South) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn left at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 1.5-hours.

All guests must stop at our office in Maple Falls. Here they will receive keys as well as location information. WHERE YOU CHECK IN: Mt. Baker Lodging Office 7425 Mt. Baker Highway Maple Falls, WA 98266-2002 Phone: 1-800-709-SNOW (7669) Hours: 9AM - 5PM PST DAILY, except holidays Please Note: For after hour check-ins, Guests will receive information on how to obtain keys and direction information from a lock-box.

House Rules

1: Guests are expected to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitees actions, and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guest who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per written Guest Rental Agreement). 2: Quite times are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM 3: Housekeeping/maid services are not available during your stay.

Refundable Damage Deposit

A Damage Deposit is not required, however damages will be charged to the Guests credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is received a minimum of 21-days or greater prior to our guest(s) scheduled date of arrival, Mt. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment*; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount*.

*Unless the vacation property(ies) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.

Winter Holiday Bookings and Cancellations – All bookings for the period of December 15 – January 2 require payment in full by December 1st. If cancelled on or prior to November 15th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater). From November 16th through November 30th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be forfeited unless the home(s) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply. On or after December 1st, guests will forfeit the entire rental amount unless the home(s) can be re-booked, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
