Maui Mango Cottage - Kaanapali

True Aloha cannot be experienced inside a plain, square hotel room, but if you break outside the box, your family will always remember our Maui Mango cottage. This quiet community, tucked away at the bottom of the Kaanapali hillside, is a little slice of paradise.

The cottage is perfectly positioned to catch any breezes and the island's famous trade winds. Open up the doors and windows and enjoy living the indoor outdoor lifestyle that Maui is famous for.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bath.

Bedroom 2 has two twin beds that can turn into a king if needed. Additional bedding is provided for a King.

Bedroom 3 has a queen bed with a private entry.

Kitchen has everything you need to come in and cook meals at home to save money on eating out.

Plus a bonus - a huge Lanai area with a comfy outdoor sofa, table and rocking chairs, a grill, and a view of the sunset and water that cannot be beat.

Two heated pools on the property that are shared with guests of other cottages on the grounds. They are rarely, if ever, crowded and you’ll often have them all to yourself!

Traditionally, most homes in Hawaii do not have Air Conditioning. I highly suggest that you give yourself a chance to really experience the Hawaiiana feel of this community by opening up the windows and doors to catch the trade winds and strong breezes that Maui offers. If you're looking to hole up in your air-conditioned room, you're missing out on the beauty you can experience on Maui if you step outside your comfort zone, and might be better served paying the high hotel prices for your stay. Typical weather temperatures in Maui range from 78-85 degrees, which you'll find to be comfortable once you give yourself time to adjust. For those times when the temperatures reach extreme highs, we do offer 5 ceiling fans, 2 of which are even on the lanai! We also offer oscillating fans in each bedroom and a mister oscillating fan on lanai. While I wish we could order up everyone's perfect temperature for your stay, that isn't quite how the weather operates unfortunately.

All areas of the home and the property, including the two heated deep pools and the 12 acres of our community. There are a few locked areas inside the cottage and an owner's closet, please avoid those.
Other things to note
Guest have full access to our beach locker that includes everything you will need to enjoy your time on Maui beaches: chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, fishing gear, sand toys, floats, ice chests and lots of snorkeling gear. Just please treat it as your own and we will save you a few $100 in daily/weekly rental fees.
