Lotts of Sun Beachfront Retro Cottage - Panama City Beach

Come enjoy the beautiful, sugar-white sand and emerald green water of the gulf at this classic beach bungalow. There are two bedrooms in the main house and a detached guest house with bedroom, en-suite full bath and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a completely private outdoor shower to rinse off the salt and sand after a long day in the sun. The open family room and kitchen offer spectacular views of amazing sunsets. A designated path leads you down from the patio to the sandy beach, for days full of sun, fun and laughter. The large patio, overlooking the beach is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee, enjoy a cocktail around the fire pit and grill out with the family.

Whether it’s sipping the morning cup of coffee on the back porch while watching for passing dolphins, having a glass of wine while witnessing a gorgeous sunset or drifting off to sleep listening to the waves crash, we think you’ll agree that this is the perfect place to experience the world’s most beautiful beaches. Built in 1960, our home is not fancy. No stainless steel appliances or marble countertops. It's a retro beach cottage. It's comfortable, cozy and has the world's greatest backyard! Inside the main house are two bedrooms. The beach/master bedroom has a kingsize bed and a half bath ensuite. The second bedroom is the bunk room. There is a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle below. This is great for kids but not that comfortable for two adults. The full bathroom in the main house has the world's tiniest shower. In 23 years our family has rarely used it, as the outdoor shower is great!
The separate house/guest cottage sits between the main house and the road. It has a bedroom with a king size bed and a full bathroom with shower en suite. The laundry room is also in this building.
We sleep four adults and four kids comfortably. (There is a sofa bed that can accommodate two more adults or kids.) Bunk bed limit is 95 pounds.

Lotts of Sun is just minutes from Pier Park, the 900,000+ square foot shopping and entertainment hub, featuring a variety of restaurants like Margaritaville, Pompano Joes, Five Guys Burgers, Dick's Last Resort, and Dave and Busters, to name just a few. Pier Park also includes The Grand 16 Movie Theater, featuring Imax movies. In the opposite direction, we are less than 5 miles from 30a, with all it's amazing restaurants and shops..
This quaint beach bungalow is also close to locals favorites such as Thomas Donuts', the Carousel Grocery Store, Sharky's, and Schooner's "The Last Local Beach Club" and more.

We are pet-friendly but insist that you keep pets off of the beds and furniture. Excessive pet hair left behind will result in additional cleaning fee up to $200. Dogs are not legally allowed on the beach behind the house. However considering that the beach is usually not crowded, we have not had issues when taking our dogs out there. We are on the beach in Sunnyside/Laguna Beach, which is located on the west end of Panama City Beach, not far from Santa Rosa Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach and 30a.

Covid info: Our home is located on the far west end of Panama City Beach, away from crowded tourist attractions and high-rise hotels/condos, and the beach right behind our home is never overcrowded even on holidays! Staying in a single family home you won't have to worry about being in elevators, hallways or lobbies with a group of strangers. Even the groceries stores on our end of the beach are usually not too crowded. (you may want to go early morning or late evening for even smaller crowds).

With our house directly on the beach, you can always get great views just sitting on the back patio - gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and the occasional school of dolphins swimming by.

** We get frequent inquiries asking about our proximity to the beach. Just to be clear, we have a single family home (not townhouse or condo) right on the beach. Our house sits in the dunes overlooking the beach and the walkway goes right from the door of our house to the sands of the beach. We have recently added drone photos.
