Very spacious main house with 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths! Features include four stone fireplaces, gourmet chef's style kitchen with six-burner gas range, master suite on main level with stone fireplace and upper level bedroom suite with loft overlooking living area. Lower level features family room with fireplace, bunk room, master bedroom suite & Jacuzzi hot tub!
Extremely functional floor plan makes for great entertaining and family time! Wrap-around decks with outdoor stone fireplace & front porch make enjoyable outdoor living spaces!
With a bunk room that sleeps six (95lb weight limit) and a wifi-free kids' lounge (ping pong, foosball, mini pool, corn hole, magnetic darts, board games) and a zip line, we are ready for families!
In the main house we have three owner's bedrooms with king-size beds, the bunk room (sleeps six kids under 95 pounds), a loft with a day bed and the studio apartment with a king bed. The main house comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 6 kids (without using the day bed) and the garage apartment sleeps 3 if utilizing the oversized sofa.. Daily rental rate is valid for up to eight adults and six children. There is a $35/person/day charge for more than 8 adults and 6 children, with a maximum of 11 adults (17 guests total).
Studio garage apartment has a private entrance, dedicated parking and an isolated deck among the trees. Renovation completed in March 2021. king-size bed, new kitchen cabinets, appliances, countertop, interior painted, new flooring, and a new bathroom vanity, shower, etc.
Conveniently located between Highlands and Cashiers North Carolina, guests can enjoy the amenities of both towns as well as nearby hiking at Whiteside Mountain, skiing at Sapphire Valley and boating on Glenville Lake. Just a quick 4.4 miles to Main St Highlands.
The video shown on the Photos page is from the previous owner. We have renovated the kitchen and turned the office with the jacuzzi into a master suite, putting the jacuzzi outdoors. We also have completely different furnishing.

Pets:
We are glad that we offer a home where you can bring your pets along. However, in the year we’ve been renting, we have had numerous problems. Therefore we have the following policies:
Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture.
Clean up after your pet if they go in the yard, there is a poop scooper usually on the deck.
We have a roll of green temporary fence on the corner of the front deck. If you like, this can be used to keep your pets on the deck. It attaches using the hooks on the rail and the house.
We also have two child gates inside if you would like to keep your pet on the main floor where there is no carpet.
It is imperative that you keep your dog(s) on a leash when outside. There are several (really nice) older people in our neighborhood who frequently walk their dogs without leashes, as well as guests in the main house with dogs sometimes.
If your pet goes to the bathroom on the carpet, clean it up or we will charge for professional cleaning.
Failure to follow these rules will result in a minimum $500 additional cleaning fee.
