You will be two houses from the bay (boat launch and pier), and 3 blocks from a fabulous stretch of beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub is a minute walk. It features indoor and outdoor dining and is a great place to be in the evening. Another waterfront restaurant, replacing Moore's Stone Crab on the other side of Mar Vista, will be opening soon. If you enjoy boating, you can bring your own boat or rent from one of the local marinas. Go north less than a mile and you are on Anna Maria Island and near Coquina Beach. Go south and explore the many miles of Long Boat Key, including the Mote Aquarium, and finally the fine shops and dining at St. Armand's Key.
