Lake House on Belleau Lake; Hot Tub, Kayaks! - Wakefield

Over 100 ft of sandy lakeside beach frontage & nestled among pine trees, the lake house is the epitome of R&R. The lake house is family & dog friendly with an open concept main floor & 3 levels of living space (3100 sq feet). Perfect spot for large families looking to share a vacation without compromising privacy! With year round activities for the whole family, it's the perfect place to create lasting memories! 2 hrs from Boston. Jacuzzi overlooking the water, kayaks, lakeside firepit and more!There are 4 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are situated on the 1st floor with double size beds. The other two bedrooms are upstairs 1 with a trundle bed and the other with a double bed and twin size air mattress if needed located in the closet. We keep a pack n' play for babies/toddlers in the closet in the 1st floor bedroom. There is also a sofa located in the downstairs family room, a futon and a queen sized air mattress if needed located on the shelves under the basement stairs. When using the air mattresses, please ensure they are deflated and put away properly.

The recently renovated large back deck overlooks the Lake with endless views and seating for the whole family! Step down to another deck to enjoy the hot tub under a gazebo with beautiful views of the lake. The large sandy beach is just steps away with chairs, a fire pit, a huge dock and kayaks/paddle/SUP boats to get you out on the water. The gas grill is located on the front porch.

During the warmer months, guests are welcome to use our paddle board, 4 Adult kayaks, 1 children's Kayak and 2 paddle boats that seat 5, which we leave on the beach. The life preservers are located in the basement storage area along with beach chairs. If you plan on bringing a boat, you will need to let us know so that we can leave you the key to the gate for the private boat launch area. We try to keep 2 propane tanks for the grill filled/rotated, however if it is empty, it can be exchanged at the local country store 4 minutes drive away. Provide the receipt and we will reimburse you.

During the colder months, warm up by the remote start gas fireplace or in the hot tub after a day of skiing, ice skating, ice fishing or snowmobiling. Play a game of Ping pong, foosball or one of the many board games!

We have plenty of linens and towels. At the end of your stay, we ask that guests leave the beds used unmade and leave any used towels/linens by the washing machine in the basement- that way we know what to clean when we come up.

We offer wireless internet access and have 3 Smart TV's with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Discovery+; make sure you select the “LAKEHOUSE” profile while using a any application. In one of the bedrooms there is also an "old fashioned" tv with VHS and an assortment of tapes, nostalgic! There is an Amazon Echo upstairs with Amazon Unlimited music (please don’t move it). We also have many board games and books, along with an over sized connect 4, ping pong table and ladder ball.

One thing to note, although we have a baby gate to keep kids safe (located in the bedroom closet, the stairs are steep and small children should be accompanied by an adult).

Parking- 6 spots available. 4 across the dirt road at our garage and 2 to the left of the flagpole next to the house.
