La Maison des Ours - Earlysville

The minimum stay is 3 nights. 2 day bookings accepted on weekends only. Weekly discount. Monthly rate (28+ nights). We are flexible so feel free to reach out for special requests.

We cannot directly accept reservations as I need to check with the house manager first if she is available to turn the property around in between bookings.

“La Maison des Ours” is located in Earlysville, VA. 15 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville. The house is set on 2 acres right off Earlysville Road, between the reservoir and the airport. The airport is 5 minutes away with direct flights to DC, Chicago, New York.

This is the ideal vacation house for a couple with children. Or for parents visiting their kids at the university. It's fully equipped: full kitchen, washer/dryer, business corner with printer, BBQ grill, Cable TV, Wifi, central aircon/heating.

The house has 3 bedrooms: a master bedroom with walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom; a guest bedroom and a kid’s bedroom with shared full 2nd bathroom. All located on the 2nd floor.

On the 1st floor you will find a large open-kitchen with dining table, a study/office, a living/TV room, and a recreation room with a foosball table. There is a deck in the back with a BBQ grill.

There is plenty parking space in the driveway. The garage is not available as it is being used for storage.

The location is super quiet and the trees all around provide good privacy.

The mall is 10 minutes away. It has good restaurants, Charlottesville’s first IMAX Theater, Pier One and a Trader Joe’s...
