Golf cart use with execution of liability waiver and providing valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance for all drivers 25 and older.

You are driving a street legal golf cart and are required to follow the same rules as any other passenger vehicle.

☀️ Everyone must ride in their own seat and wear a safety belt

☀️ Children who are of car seat age/weight must be in a car seat

☀️ Do not drive the vehicle under the influence

☀️ All drivers must sign the rental agreement, submit proof of a valid drivers license, and valid automobile insurance

☀️ All drivers must be 25 years of age or older

☀️ All parking fines or other violations must be paid by the Guest/driver of the vehicle

☀️ Park only in designated parking spots, do not make up your own parking spots

☀️ Parking in Prominence is only allowed in the garage, driveway, gravel areas on the South side of the community, or by the pool during pool hours. No parking on the street, sidewalks, or in the landscaping.

☀️ Do not drive the golf cart on the Timpoochee Trail (Bike Path along 30A)

☀️ Do not park the golf cart in Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside Residential, Seacrest Beach Subdivision, Watersound, or Watercolor residential.

ACCESS CODES
In advance of your stay, you will receive an email with the access code to our home, pool, and gym. The access codes will remain inactive until at least 4 pm the day of check-in and deactivate at 10 am CT on the date of your departure.

DAMAGE
Once you have arrived at the property please walk through the property and identify any concerns you have and bring to our attention right away.
An inspection of our home will be conducted following your departure. Should an inspector find that our home is inordinately dirty, evidence of smoking or pets, items are missing from our home, or there is obvious damage to the home contents including but not limited to bicycles and other amenities provided, La Belle Mer reserves the right to charge Guest for damages as the Guest is personally and financially responsible during their stay.

NO SMOKING
Smoking or Vaping of any kind is not allowed inside our home, nor on the patio, porch, entrance, or garage. If there is evidence of smoking found, then it will result in a $500 fine. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PET/ ANIMAL POLICIES
We are unable to accommodate animals of any kind in our property as it creates a health and safety issue. The violation of any terms of this pet policy is subject to immediate eviction, additional fines up to $500 or termination of the rental period.

OCCUPANCY RESTRICTIONS
The primary renter must be 25 years old or older and be present at the property during the entire rental period. Guests are not allowed to book a stay for someone other than themselves and their travel group. Violation is cause for eviction without refund of any kind and will result in liability for all damages that have resulted due to this infraction. The Guest responsible for renting the property must insure that the number of guests/visitors does not exceed the number of guests listed on the reservation without written approval and at no time may the number of guests exceed the advertised eight (8) maximum sleeping capacity as stated in the home's description and house rules. Parties and gatherings of any kind are not permitted. Further If a party or event is discovered at the property and/or more than (8) guests sleep at the property without written permission the security deposit will be charged in full.

CHECK OUT
Check out is 10:00 am unless otherwise noted in writing. If guests delay the cleaners from beginning their cleaning at the property guests will be charged $50 for every hour the cleaners are delayed beginning 20 minutes after scheduled checkout time. Any guest who is still occupying the property after 12 pm will be charged for an extra day rent unless prior arrangements in writing have been made. If our property is left in a dirty state, you will be charged $50 for every extra hour of cleaning required.

CONDITIONS OF PREMISES UPON DEPARTURE
Upon departure, our home must be left in the order in which it was entered. This includes:
• Removal of perishable items from the fridge, cabinets, and counter tops.
• Windows, exterior doors, and garage should be secured
• Turn off all lights
• All dirty dishes, glassware and flatware should be placed in the dishwasher and the cycle started
• Collect trash within the kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas. If your departure day is on a day other than Tuesday or Friday, please place your garbage in the receptacle in the garage. If your departure date is on Tuesday or Friday, please place your garbage in the receptacle and place it curbside prior to 6 am CT
• Please pile used towels on the floor in the bathrooms
• Return any moved furniture back to its original spot
• If the cooler was used please rinse and drain any excess water and air it out, please leave the lid open
• Please make sure all beach chairs, toys and umbrellas are accounted for and put back.
• If You used the bicycles please make sure all individual bike locks are on the handlebars and the bikes are locked together using the long cable and lock.

DAMAGE AND CLEANING ISSUES
It is the responsibility of the guest to notify La Belle Mer immediately of any damage or cleaning issues that are noticed upon arrival. You will not incur any additional charges if the following items are adhered to:
• There was no smoking or evidence of smoking, to include the exterior porches, entrances, and garage.
• There was no evidence of pets anywhere with in the property.
• No damage is done to our home or its contents including the linens
• No items are missing upon inventory check
• All debris, garbage and discards are placed in proper containers as outlined within this rental agreement
Should you experience any problems during your stay, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the matter as soon as it is practically possible.

CABLE TV
Cable TV is provided as a convenience only and service level has been chosen by the Host. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, or personal preferences with regard to cable TV service.

INTERNET
High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the agreement. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to internet service.

INTERFERENCE WITH STAY
La Belle Mer will make every effort to stay informed of pending conditions within the nearby vicinity, including upcoming events that can cause disturbance, etc. However, La Belle Mer shall not be held responsible for any such occurrences that are beyond our control that may interfere with your stay.

In the event of weather related interference reservations maybe changed prior to the reservation starting, refunds will not be given prior to the start of the reservation and will follow the cancellation policy set in the Airbnb platform.

During a reservation if a weather interference occurs and a mandatory evacuation is issued for the property area a refund will be considered on an individual basis. Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th and we strongly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect against severe weather or other trip disruptions.

First check to see if the credit card used to purchase your trip includes trip insurance as a benefit. If not, we encourage you to seek out travel insurance through a third party at your own expense to protect yourselves in case of any travel related events.

GARAGE DOOR
Please keep the garage door closed except when you are actively loading/unloading or out in the garage and/or driveway. This is to protect guests and their belongings during your stay.


TRASH
Trash is collected on Tuesday and Friday, you may put your garbage in the receptacle and place it curbside Monday or Thursday night or prior to 6 am CST on Tuesday or Friday and bring it back into the garage by 12 pm CST that same day.

When the trash can is not out for pick up it must be kept in the garage as per association rules.

If excessive trash is left following your departure due to non- compliance, additional cleaning fees may be applied.

GRILLING
BBQ grilling/cooking is strictly prohibited at this property. At no time may you use any type of propane, charcoal or any fueled device to cook on the deck, on the driveway, in the garage or near the building. There are grills provided at the pool area for guests use.

SECURITY
There are two security cameras in use onsite: Outside front door entrance and outside above garage door. Tampering or disabling either device in any way can result in immediate termination of reservation.


LOST, STOLEN AND MISPLACED ITEMS
Neither La Belle Mer nor the Property Owner assumes liability for items that may be lost, stolen misplaced or damaged during the duration of the rental period. If personal items are left behind after departure, please contact La Belle Mer to arrange return shipping. Items will be returned at the expense of the guest.

PROPERTY INDEMNIFICATION
The Guest or any member of the occupying party, by signature of this agreement and all occupying parties agree collectively to hold harmless and waive the right to hold negligent the Property Owner and/or La Belle Mer in the event of any theft, accident or incident that causes damage, bodily injury or casualty to the Guest or any member of the occupying party. This is to include all recreational items such as bicycles, golf carts, scooters, kayaks, YOLO boards or recreational vehicles rented during their stay from a local vendor. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the property including but not limited to the home, bikes, bunk beds / loft bed, pool, gym, and BBQ area. By Acceptance of this reservation it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the property and its amenities.

GOLF CART AND BIKE INDEMNIFICATION
The Guest or any member of the occupying party is aware of the risk, dangers and hazards associated with these activities and freely accept and fully assume all risk and responsibility to include personal injury, death, property damage and loss resulting therefrom. The Guest or any member of the occupying party gives full release of La Belle Mer and/or the Property Owner for any damages, injuries, claims, including but not limited to myself or any other person or property, as a result of use of the provided bicycles and golf cart. The Guest or any member of the occupying party are responsible for any damage to the bicycles and golf cart during the rental period and understand that they are financially responsible for replacing or repairing the items.

RIGHT OF ENTRY
The management team of La Belle Mer may enter the leased premises at any time for the protection and preservation of the premises, in the event of an emergency, or known or suspected violation of policies set forth by this agreement. When entry is necessary for repairs or services agreed upon by both parties, La Belle Mer will make every effort to provide ample notice of three (3) or more hours. Inability to extend such notice for reasons set forth above shall not however prohibit entry.

50% of the total reservation cost including security deposit is due at booking and the balance is due 20 days before arrival.
