15 Guests . 6 Bedrooms . 3.5 Bathrooms

Come enjoy the beautiful mountains and delicious food that Asheville has to offer! We are excited to host you this Fall!

Easy 6.6 Miles to Biltmore Estates, 6.5 Miles to Downtown Asheville (10-12 minutes to either!). 5 Minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway! Uber and Taxi's service this location. Perfect home base for your group's stay in Asheville.

Please read full description and house rules as we do not accept damage insurance in lieu of the fully refundable $1,500 "property fee" (aka security deposit). ID and signed rental agreement are required at the time of your reservation. If you have any questions about how this works, please feel free to reach out.

Relax on the back patio, just steps from the kitchen, while cooking up family favorites on the large charcoal grill. Relax around the fire on warm summer evenings or cool spring and fall nights, telling stories and cooking S'Mores. Watch your kids play in the large front yard, wrap around decks or veranda. They can also join the neighborhood kids in bicycling around the cul-de-sac and other dead end streets.

Spread out in the large king beds and walk-in closets found in each of the 3 spacious upstairs bedrooms. Relax in the the large garden tub in the attached master bathroom or the very spacious full bath located in the upstairs hallway.

Main Level:
Walk barefoot on the beautiful cherry hardwood floors throughout the main level. Get familiar with the large spacious kitchen stocked by myself, a chef. Chop away on my favorite rolling block cutting board or eat out every night, it is Asheville after all.
Relax in the cozy living room with large flat screen TV with all you can watch Netflix already set up and high speed internet.
The spacious main level bedroom is complete with king bed and sitting area with futon for extra guests. As a minimalist you'll find what you need but not much clutter in my home. The dining room, one of my favorite areas, has a fantastic barn-wood table that seats 6-8and some additional seating is available in the comfortable kitchen bar stools and downstairs.

More Space/Basement:
For 12 or more guests we automatically open up the spacious and artsy basement bedrooms which include (1 king and 1 queen), full bathroom, additional kitchen and living room. There is no extra charge for this if you have 12 or more guests. Your per person guest fees cover the basement add on. If you have less than 12 guests the basement can be added on for an additional $135.00 per night.

Entertain your kids or guests with the always accessible game room that includes an additional flat screen TV, foosball table, board games, and small pool table. For a basement with no windows it feels cozy with taller ceilings and modern but simple design. It is not fancy but its comfortable with memory foam mattresses and plenty of space for your extra guests for entertaining and enjoying board game night (don't forget you need to add these bedrooms if you have less than 12 guests)

The Area:
Tunnel Road hosts shopping and restaurants, as well as leading you right into downtown (only 6.5 miles, 10 Minutes!). The home is just two miles off of Tunnel Road near the VA hospital. If you'd like to visit West Asheville or the River Arts District its all a short drive, it is convenient to I-240, I-40, and all of Asheville.

You are only 2 miles to Filo, a local coffee shop featuring excellent coffee and baked goods. East Village Grille with fantastic wings, grouper ruben sandwich, and huge greek salads, it's one of my favorite places to eat in town. (it's right next door to Filo) I am a chef so I will have plenty of great places to recommend. It's very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You could easily ride your bicycle and get on the parkway to enjoy a beautiful bike ride and/or hike from one of the nearby trails.

Check in:
4:30 - 5:00ish PM check in and 10:00 - 10:30 am check out with early and late check outs allowed when available. Please do not request this more than 24 hours in advance of your stay/departure. Early check in and late check out are more limited at this time due to the extra cleaning requirements.

Interaction with Guests
My goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I will be available to give as much or as little conversation, advice, directions, and information as you need.

The Neighborhood
Quiet and friendly but not nosy, convenient to lots of restaurants, shopping, about a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway! You could safely and easily ride your bike to the Parkway entrance from my home. Please drive slowly through our quiet, dead end neighborhood.

Maximum occupancy is 14 adults!

*********No arrivals or departures are allowed on Saturday. You are welcome to check in or out on any other day of the week. Government issued ID, signed rental agreement, and a credit card to keep on file is required within 24 hours of booking.

A few things to note before heading to our home in Asheville:

1. We have an easy self-check-in procedure. On the day of arrival please call, text or email me for the property address and code to the lock box. I do not give these out ahead of time for the privacy and security of the current guest and to prevent drive-bys.

2. The lock box: We love having a lock box as it makes your access to the home so much easier. Sometimes they misbehave and you might need to do a hard pull to get it open. Remember the lockbox pulls towards you and a key lives inside the lockbox. Don't be afraid to use force if it is misbehaving. Also, make sure the numbers are perfectly lined up and press the button while simultaneously pulling the lockbox door towards you. This usually requires two hands!

3. Because we care about our neighbors and their enjoyment of both their homes and our beautiful neighborhood, there is a 6-car maximum allowed at our home. Also, please no parking in the cul-de-sac or on the grass. If you have more cars than this please leave them a local business or grocery store that allows overnight or long term parking.

4. We want this to be your home away from home. We have provided many items to try and take the stress off of your stay. Please see the list below for what is provided at the home and what you might need to bring with you.

5. There is a welcome sheet at the house to get you oriented with the Wifi and TV so be sure to look for it! There is also a list of simple check out procedures and a restaurant guide.

6. Early Check-in: Sometimes this is available and sometimes it is not. We will let you check into our home as soon as it is clean and ready. Often
our home is a turn around and it regularly takes the cleaners 4-8 hours to get the home ready for the next guest. If you would like an early check in, please contact me 1-2 days prior to your stay to see if this is available. I will have no way of knowing if early check in is a possibility until then. The earliest free check-in is 3:00 PM. If you'd like pricing on an earlier check-in please let me know.

7. Late Checkout: We are more than happy to offer you a late check out, if it is available. To ask for a late check out you need to ask the day
before your departure. This is because I might be busy or away from my phone and I wouldn't want to have you ask at the last minute and not
respond in time. We also ask that you let us know if you plan to leave before 10:00 am. This helps the cleaning staff plan their day and means another lucky family might get to check in early. The latest free checkout is 11:30 AM.

8. The garage is used for personal storage and is not available for guest use during your stay.

9. We make every effort to check our phones as often as possible, at least 1-2 times a day to respond to any questions you may have. Because my husband and I work full time and travel often the fastest response is typically to text or message me.

Traveling all over the world inspired me to get my degree in Culinary Arts and inspired me to move to Asheville. Great food and unique culture is hard to find in one place. Somehow Asheville has managed to combine culture, art, great food, locally brewed beer, local farms, and local businesses into a charming town nestled into ancient mountains full of waterfalls, hiking, history, and art. Asheville is one of the few places that has four beautiful seasons and some of the best coffee and restaurants around. Growing up in a bed and breakfast made me passionate about hosting guests and creating unique experiences for them. I am excited to open up my home to travelers and I'm looking forward to share all there is to experience in and around Asheville.
