Overview

Located on 2.5 scenic wooded acres, Home on the Range is 1 mile from the Wimberley Square and HEB. It sleeps up to 3 max. It has more amenities than a 5 star hotel & provides the perfect dream home escape while surrounded by all the Hill Country has to offer. The PRIVATE front porch/deck has a PROPANE grill, rocking chairs, tables and a PRIVATE hot tub. Hot tub is PRIVATE/only for Home On The Range guests. Only shared amenities are the pool/pool deck. The pool is open yr around & is NOT heated.
Home on the Range is a secluded slice of Hill Country paradise. This newer ADA compliant, 1150 sq. ft. hill-top gem has a hot tub, large, private front deck, California-king memory foam mattress, huge shower, WiFi, TV with amazon fire stick, futon, dining table, DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, central heat and air conditioning.

Rainwater collected on site supplies 100% of water. The generous front deck has a PROPANE grill, tables and chairs and private hot tub.

The fully stocked kitchen includes coffee bar containing coffee, creamer, sugar, cups and filters, crock pot, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker and freezer, stove and oven.

Master bedroom has a California-king memory foam mattress, large walk in closet with a make-up table, attached full-bath with a shower and is Alexa enabled.

We are Dog Friendly (Dogs only) - Please see house rules for Dog fees and policies.

A sun deck complete with aboveground, salt-water pool is also a part of this Hill Country delight. Sun yourself on one of the decks in a zero gravity chair and enjoy a cool dip in the blue oasis, above ground, rectangular pool. Whether you are sunning or swimming, this outdoor retreat is a perfectly refreshing way to enjoy the warm, Texas weather. The pool is the only shared amenity. The pool and pool deck are open year around. The pool is not heated.

Getting around

There is public parking on and near by the square. Wimberley is a small village so you walk to most restaurants, shops, Cypress Creek, thrift stores and so on. There are no taxi's and no public transportation. Uber may be available mostly on the weekends. Many tour companies provide wine, brewery and distillery tours.

After deciding it was time for a change, we left corporate America to pursue and enjoy all the spectacular wonders that Wimberley and the Hill Country have to offer.

It is a pleasure to share our little piece of heaven, CASAS De Wimberley, with you. The most important thing to us about your stay is that it meets and hopefully exceeds your expectations.

Hard work is nothing new to us and we strive to ensure that your special get away is relaxing, comfortable and fun in an effort to help you create cherished and fond memories for you and your loved ones.

Having hosted BnB getaways and other special occasions has afforded us the opportunity to meet so many great people from all over the world. Whether it be minimal or more, we really enjoy all the interactions with our guests.

House Rules
- You must be 25 years of age or older to book this Home.

- STRICT - NUMBER OF GUEST - The number of Guests booked must be the number of guests staying. If there are any changes to the number of guest, you must enter the change in AirBnB to recalculate the charges and contact me. Inaccurately booking fewer guests than what are staying just to receive better pricing is not allowed within AirBnB policy and will result in the additional amount owed being requested via AirBnB reservation system. I defiantly understand it can happen, just pay the extra per person, per night fee.

-Airbnb Guidelines state that guests over the AGE of TWO years old are considered paying guests and must be booked as "children". Guests under the age of two must be booked as "infants" and there is no charge, WE need to know the ages of all guests and the exact number of guests at all times for safety purposes and housekeeping purposes.

- We are a dog friendly BnB. (Dogs Only) Here is the dog policy. The fee is $20 per dog per night-limit two dogs. We will send you an Airbnb money request when you book. No aggressive breeds and there is a 35lb weight limit per dog. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside and kenneled inside when you are gone. There is a four hour time limit for crating your dog(s) while you are away from the unit. All messes must be picked up immediately. If staying more than three nights or have an exception, please contact us.

- CHECK IN – CHECK OUT – Check in is at 4:00 PM or later on the day of your scheduled arrival. 24 hr. self check-in. Please adhere to 4:00 pm check-in time. Check out is 11:00 AM.

-Pool & Pool Deck are Shared Amenities for Registered Guests of Casas De Wimberley Only.

-NO parties, gatherings or extra unregistered guests allowed without our pre-approval and consent.

- DELICATE SEPTIC - ONLY put toilet paper in the toilet. (See signs in each bath room for more details) NO grease down the sink. The property is on a delicate septic system and your care is greatly appreciated.

- TRASH - Please Put all trash in the bin on side of garage. If you have boxes or packing for items you brought, please that with you and dispose of at your convenience. There is no recycling pick up in Wimberley so please just use normal trash containers. If you want to recycle, you can take you recyclables to the Hays Country Transfer station located in Wimberley at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Carney Lane (Phone number hidden by Airbnb)
- SMOKING - NO Smoking (except outdoors and please be respectful with ALL smoking waste/trash).

- HOT TUB – Please rinse off before getting in the hot tub. Do not add anything into the water. Registered guests only can use the hot tub. Hot tub is private and for registered Home on the Range guests only. Always put the cover back on the Hot Tub after using. Please use the designated hot tub for your unit.

- OUTDOOR LIGHTS - Make sure all outside lights are off when not in use. Please respect light pollution and the Dark Skies status we have achieved here

- BBQ - Always turn the burners and gas valve on the propane tanks OFF when finished with the BBQ pit or the Fire Pit Table. Respectfully clean grills after use with the provided grill brushes and replace cover after pit has cooled down.

- QUIET HOURS – This is a Quiet and Peaceful BnB. - PLEASE observe noise levels after 9:00pm when in the courtyard and in the hot tub during weekdays and 10:00pm on weekend nights.

-- FIRE ARMS - OPEN CARRY - of firearms is not allowed anywhere on the grounds of Bar None. Should you choose to bring firearms - please store in your locked vehicle or safely away in the locked BnB. PLEASE do not walk around the property with exposed firearms.

- PARKING HOME ON THE RANGE – Parking is located half way up drive way on your left down the hill from Home on the Range. Specifics will be sent 1-2 weeks prior to your arrival.

- UPON DEPARTING – Home On The Range - Please put all dirty linens in container provided in master bedroom closet. Please clean all dishes and if there are dishes in the dishwasher, start the dishwasher before leaving. Wipe down bathroom and kitchen counter tops. Please take all trash from bathrooms and kitchen to the outdoor trash bin. Please leave furnishings and/or nick-knacks the way you found them. You can leave beds unmade and sheets on them – we will take it from there.

- GUIDE BOOK - There is a RED guest book on the table in the small sitting/literature room with other instructions on how to work things, WiFi code, etc. As well as suggestions and maps for the surrounding area and getting around.

- For your security, a nest camera is installed outside of the property that can capture footage of vehicles driving into and out of the property. This camera is used so we know when guest arrive and when they check out and also to protect your vehicles.No smokingNo parties or eventsCheck-in is anytime after 4:00 PM
