- Dogs may not be left unattended at the cabin at any time. We are happy to suggest pet friendly trails, adventures, and places to eat.
- We have provided extra towels & throw blankets for your pets - please do not allow dogs on the furniture, and be sure to dry off wet dogs before bringing them back into the cabin.
- Please be aware that elk, deer, squirrels and other wildlife may be present on the property at any time. We have a zero tolerance policy for any harassment of wildlife, which includes allowing dogs to chase, bark, or otherwise scare or harm.

Overview
Welcome to Holiday House! Steps from the Cowlitz River in the town of Packwood- just a short drive from multiple Mt. Rainier park entrances and only 30 minutes from White Pass Ski Area. With easy access to skiing, hiking, fishing, and everything the Gifford Pinchot National Forest has to offer.
Holiday House offers 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, full bathroom with tub, lots of natural light, outdoor fire pit, gas grill, WiFi, smart TVs, quick access to local trails, and so much more.
Open, bright and welcoming. Newly built in 2019, our home has been carefully furnished with a mix of mid century & modern pieces, Pacific Northwest art, warm textiles and eclectic touches.
Our beds are brand-new, we use high thread count 100% cotton sheets, Pendleton throw blankets and lots of extra pillows in each bedroom for maximum coziness. Each guest is provided with a set of plush towels to use during your stay. We use low scent cleaning products and free & clear laundry detergent.
The kitchen is well equipped with coffee & tea supplies, toaster, blender, electric kettle, dishwasher, a small cookbook collection and many kitchen tools to help you cook a beautiful meal. We try to keep a few pantry staples on hand as well, including organic coffee beans.
The house has two smart TV's with access to Netflix, Hulu, and more (you'll need to use your own accounts to sign in). We provide board games, puzzles, and a small library featuring local hiking guidebooks and other treasures.
We are located in a quiet corner of the neighborhood, near a few other cabins and RV camping lots- our property features a fire pit, brand new gas grill, and seating areas outside. There's a short path right to the river's edge nearby, and easy local trail access just down the street. Guests are able to use High Valley Country Club facilities for a reasonable fee (please notify us at least 2 days prior to your stay if you'd like to use the pool or play golf).

Our house is located in the High Valley Country Club neighborhood - guests are able to use the community pool (seasonal) and golf course (year round) for a small fee. Please let us know 2 days prior to your arrival if you'd like to use these facilities so we can send in your guest registration.

Getting around
There is parking for up to 4 cars on the property. Packwood is in a remote area, and does require a personal vehicle to get around & enjoy. Bikes are welcome and safe to ride through the neighborhood.

Guest are able to check-in any time after 4 pm on day of arrival. Check-out is at 11 am on day of departure. Please notify us right away if you need a later departure.

Full reservation fee including cleaning fee and taxes must be paid at booking.

Cancellations are allowed in full up to 14 days prior to the first day of your reservation.
Notes
A few things to note about our property:
- Packwood is a rural community, and we are located in a very quiet neighborhood on 1/4 acre. However we do have neighbors nearby who may also be using their cabins or RV's during your visit. Often times there's no one else around, but we can't guarantee perfect solitude.
- The Pacific Northwest in the summer means bugs! We do not spray insecticide on our property as to not harm pollinators and wildlife. The windows in the house all have screens, we use ultrasonic repellent plugs-ins, and the whole house has AC so you can stay cool even with the windows closed. However a mosquito or two may still find its way in, and they're also very likely to pay you a visit when sitting outside. We provide citronella candles and try to keep bug spray on hand - though you may want to bring extra!
