Heart of Texas Ranch is the perfect Hill Country venue for a Texas wedding, yoga retreat, family vacation, or corporate retreat. With enough room to accommodate multiple families or large groups and all the amenities you need, Heart of Texas Ranch will be your home away from home.

The ranch, guest houses and other event facilities are on 55 acres of Texas Hill Country, just minutes from Lake Marble Falls, Lake LBJ, the City of Marble Falls, and close to all the recreation, shopping and sightseeing for which the Hill Country is famous. About Dale Fortenberry Jr.
I traveled the world 100 nights per year for 25 years in my previous sales position. I have stayed in every type of hotel and bed and breakfast you can imagine during that time. I have taken the best of my experiences and tried to replicate them into these homes. We used only the finest things when furnishing the ranch. 400 thread count sheets, luxuriously thick terry towels, makeup remover wipes, pillow top or memory foam mattresses, the list goes on and on.

This is my family ranch. The larger home on the hill was my parents and the other home belonged to my grandmother. I have remodeled them extensively with all the latest amenities. They sit on 55 acres so it is peaceful and secluded. My nearest neighbor is my cousin. We have incredible 25 mile hilltop views in every direction from the main house. The 6000 square foot deck is perfect for weddings, dances, reunions, etc.

What makes this Estate unique
We have an incredible amount of room. The main house is nearly 4000 sq ft, and the deck is about 6000 sq ft. There are seven bedrooms in the main house plus a game room with a pool table. The smaller house has a game room as well with a pool table and a foosball table. Lots of amenities are nearby including horseback riding, and off road adventure park for 4 wheelers and motorcycles. Longhorn Cavern, several golf courses, boating, are all nearby. Hiking at Balcones National Wildlife Refuge is literally around the corner. My other business is Heart of Texas Wine Tours, so wine tours are almost always available. The hill country of Texas is the #2 wine tourism destination in America right behind Napa Valley.

House Rules

No shoes in the house please, unless of course you have a medical need to wear them. It just keeps the place so my cleaner.

Payment Policy

50% down to hold your dates and the remainder due 90 days before check in.

Refundable Damage Deposit

Damage deposit is usually refunded one week after check out.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and Changes in Reservations: Cancellations must be made 90 or more days prior to scheduled arrival in writing. There is a $1000 Cancellation fee for all cancellations made within the cancellation period. If a reservation is cancelled with less than 90 days notice you will forfeit all monies and be responsible for the full rental amount unless the Property is re-rented for the entire length of the stay and at full price in which case there will be a 10% cancellation fee or $500, whichever is greater. If you are a “no-show,” you will forfeit the full amount of the rental. We do not give credit for early departures or for inclement weather. If a change in reservation is requested, Owner will make reasonable effort to accommodate the change, and assess the appropriate cancellation fee as stated above. You hereby grant consent for Owner to charge your credit card for the balance of any fees due.
