Welcome to Frida’s Arboretum, a modern, secluded cottage near Phoenicia & Belleayre with a wood-burning stove, a private stream, trails, & seasonal mountain views.

Explore the natural beauty of the Catskills & then retreat to the comfort of our home. There is an abundance of hiking, fishing, skiing, famer's markets, picturesque towns, & excellent food nearby. Frida's is 10 min to Phoenicia, 15 min to Belleayre, and 30 min to Woodstock, Hunter, & Margaretville.

Frida’s Arboretum is an oasis for nature lovers looking to escape the city: a secluded and picturesque Catskills retreat with new and modern furnishings. The bright and airy space invites guests to connect with each other and with nature. Abundant windows provide ample natural light. The woods and the river can be seen from every room. The open concept living area makes conversation easy when cooking, eating, or enjoying the fire from the wood-burning stove. The screened in porch off the dining room provides the ultimate afternoon relaxation spot. Open the windows to let the sounds of the stream in, or take a walk out the back door to explore the private river and trails.

In the back half of the house you’ll find the fully updated bathroom, including a skylight and full bath. There are two spacious bedrooms with queen sized beds, large windows, and beautiful pine ceilings. A third bedroom is setup as a work from home space and fits a queen-sized air mattress.
