Dave #2 - Wimberley

Start your day with a cup of coffee on the front porch then head out for a perfect Texas day. Whether you shop at one of the unique spots on the Wimberley Square, cool off at one of the many famous swimming holes nearby, or prefer to visit one of the many Texas Hill Country Wineries or Breweries, the day is bound to be one you won't forget.

Dave's Cabin at RusTx Ranch in Wimberley is the perfect spot for a getaway to reconnect with friends and family. Inside, you'll find a cushy sofa and plump leather chair with light pouring through the large windows in the living area. Colorado Ponderosa Pine Bluewood walls and a tin vaulted ceiling are the backdrops for rustic, hand-chosen decor in a hunting and fishing theme, a tribute to the cabin's namesake, and the owner's father Dr. Dave. Two bedrooms with queen size beds and a fold-out "flip-flop" sofa provide enough room for a family or two couples comfortably. The bathroom has a tiled shower with Rain shower head and plenty of towels and washcloths. A small kitchenette and dining table provide a place for a quick meal before the day's activities. You will also find other amenities including a ROKU TV, WIFI, Split AC Unit and board games.

Dave's Cabin at RusTx Ranch was designed, built and decorated by your hosts Mike and Nicole in honor of Mike's father, Dr. Dave. The cabin celebrates his life and zest for the great outdoors. He was an avid fly fisherman, hunter and camping adventurer. He also enjoyed scenic photography. Hours of love and labor went into every detail from the stained concrete floors to the hand sanded and lacquered Colorado Ponderosa Pine Bluewood walls to the hand-selected and curated decor that remind us of his life and love of the outdoors.
