There are many interesting houses to see in this area, from a 100 old bungalow to newly-built modern town houses.

Update: AXELRAD Is a new beer garden that just opened 2 blocks away. They have a big outdoor area connected to Luigi's Pizza. They have 100's of craft beer and wine to choose from.. lots of outdoor hammocks for relaxing.. Cool neon out door tree.. Live music from time to time. Really laid back and very inviting. Great people!

Located on the edge of trendy Midtown, Sandwiched between Downtown and the Museum District, this neighborhood offers a range of restaurant opportunities, energetic nightlife options and boutique shopping that attracts a bevy of young professionals to the area. On Saturday mornings, locals flock to the area for spectacular brunch options or gallery hoping at one of the 24 art venues located in this diverse community, but after the sun goes down pretty young things return for nights at Midtown's live music venues, dance clubs and dive bars..
Fine and casual dining options are within walking distance, as well as one of Houston's largest public parks (Hermann Park, approx. 1 mile) featuring an outdoor theater, zoo and award winning natural science museum. Several other world-class museums are within moderate walking distance or very close by.

If you are taking public transportation from the IAH airport, which is 25 miles away from the city, you can go to the bus stop outside terminal C. there is only one bus going to the city center, hop on ($1.25) and ask the driver to let you know to get off to reach the light rail station in downtown (any stop is fine). you can take the rail to Wheeler station/ Ensemble HCC station, and then please follow your map to walk to the apartment.

We are dedicated to provide lodging for all our confirmed reservations, and we want our guest to feel rest-assured that their reservations will not be cancelled; in turn, we expect our guests to respect our strict cancellation policy, no alteration (except extending the stay when available) will be accepted once the reservation is confirmed. Houfy recommends that all guests purchase traveler's insurance. Please contact your traveler's insurance underwriter for reimbursement of cancellation fees or other losses.

From our past 1300+ guests, we learned that a guest would really enjoy our apartment if you are:

1.Enjoy being in the city center, where a lot of activities and culture events are happening every single day. However our apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood and it is still peaceful among the busy world.
2.Coming to Houston for internship in Downtown and Medical Center area, since our apartment is only few minutes walking distance from light rail and bus station, and it's about $5 to get you almost everywhere in town.
3.You are self sufficient, do not need round-the-clock attention. We are not hotel, we just can't come to you to supply shampoo or toilet paper, or to remind you the wifi password at 11pm at night. In addition, we have created a fairly complete guest/home instruction, and 99.99% of our guests found everything they need to know IF THEY READ the instruction we sent before arrival.
4. Coming in a good mood :) You are on a getaway/break- the-routine adventure, be open mind for what the City has to offered.
