Our home is available for short term rentals. Perfect for a family, extended family, a couple or anyone who just wants extra space in a private, quiet setting. Surrounded by Connecticut land trust hiking trails our home features a private pool, lounge chairs, outdoor seating, plus all the comforts of a 4 bedroom home with a separate basement in-law apartment.
The main house has an open kitchen and family room with a huge sofa that will seat your entire family comfortably in front of the fireplace and mounted flat screen TV. The separate living room and dining room give extended family places to spread out. The family sliders onto the deck will give you views of spectacular sunsets and of the vast, private backyard, as well as the pool. In the 4 main bedrooms the Primary has a King, 2 of the secondary bedroom have Queen beds and the fourth has a full bed. The attic is a fully furnished bonus room with large screen TV, tons of seating, pool table, twin cot and extra mattresses -- perfect for kids or teens. Finally, the separate in-law apartment has full french doors providing a separate entry from the pool into the aparmtent. There is a living room with TV, seating, pop-o-shot basketball for the kids, propane stove for off-season comfort. The kitchen has full sized refridgerator, oven and microwave. There is a full bathroom with stall shower (no tub). Finally the bedroom has a twin/twin trundle and a large desk overlooking the pool patio.
The pool is oversized and uniquely shaped. There is an additional 1/2 bath off the pool patio so no wet feet need to come through the house. We provide poolside basketball hoop, pool noodles and floats. There is also a driveway basketball hoop and plenty of balls.
Madison CT is on the Long Island Sound. All the beaches are private to either the town or to beach associations. For summer rentals of 2 weeks or more we provide passes to the private, Madison town beaches. For shorter summer rentals, day passes can be purchased. There is also a very large beach state park in Madison, as well as other state parks for hiking, swimming, picnicking and more. In the off-season the beaches and state parks are free to park and enjoy.
