Situated in a quiet neighborhood just 3 miles away from downtown Pittsburgh, my house has the serenity and character of an old house and the amenities of a modern one. This home has been gracefully restored with the needs of the modern traveler in mind. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs that can accomodate 8 people plus 2 downstairs on an inflatable sofa. There are 1.5 bathrooms in the house. I have a flat screen 4kHD TV in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen, where people can cook and eat plus a high speed internet connection.

Once deemed as non-habitable, I purchased and rescued this house while dreaming of having an artist retreat of some sort. While I am cooking the plans for that thing to happen, because I will have to form a business of some sort, I put it on the market and you, dear traveler, are welcome to stay in it. If you like history, cobblestones and pockets doors my home is for you. Because renting my home is like renting a bit of history.

I dont not rent to undergraduate college students.

Maximum occupancy: 10

House Rules

Absolutely no Pets.
No shoes in the house.
No parties or loud music that can upset my neighbors.
Treat my house with respect.
Keep quiet between 10PM-8am.
When you check out please make sure you close and lock both front door and back door.
Please don't abuse the furnace/AC. Setting very high in winter and very low in summer is not acceptable. Most people are comfortable between 68- 74F.
Please don't use hand and bath towels to remove makeup.
Please don't wash the house linens. This is done by the housekeeping.
If there is a problem don't try to fix it yourself. Call me right away.

Payment Policy

I can only accept your reservation if it's prepaid via Paypal. I am not a business, but a landlord for tax reasons, and therefore I can't process credit cards.

Refundable Damage Deposit

Security deposit will be paid along with the rental and will be returned the day after departure using your method of payment (paypal, Venmo)

Cancellation Policy

My cancelation policy are moderated. If you cancel 5 days before the travel date I will retain 10% of the price. The deposit will be refunded to you two business days after your departure, via paypal. I can also do Venmo.
The deposit will be refunded the next day of your departure via PayPal (or Venmo).

Notes

Please, quiet times between 10PM-8AM.
Please, don't use street shoes in the house.
If you are local please don't book me, unless there is a good reason
No parties.
No outdoor grilling, even if you bring a table top grill (insurance safety hazard)
No indoor candles (fire hazard).
No disposing of animal fat in the sink or toilet, but in provided glass jar.
No illegal activities.
