Welcome to our home! Perfect for a cozy couple's retreat this one bedroom condo is waiting for you to book! It is located on the top floor of a walk up building at the Vail Racquet Club with mountain and creek views. The community is quiet and well cared for and offers fun and relaxing options for your stay in the Vail valley.

Hiking and biking options are plentiful with many easy to get to trailheads including the main trailhead for the Vail Pass recreation path. Community parks offer great playgrounds and lakes for relaxing, playing soccer and frisbee golf or stand up paddle boarding. Waterfalls and wildflowers are plentiful in the spring and summer with amazing leaf peeping in the fall. Guests can purchase drop in passes for access to the club house, tennis courts, hot tubs, heated pool, fitness rooms, fitness classes, etc.

Parking is free (with a provided parking pass) in surface lots directly in front of the building. The Town of Vail free bus line is also just steps from the building and can take you anywhere in the valley--including directly to the slopes avoiding the need for finding parking in the main village.

We're located less than a 5 minute drive to the main ski village and it can be reached via I-70 or a local frontage road.

We offer a free ski locker (please bring your own lock) on the ground floor so you don't have to carry your skis or boards up to the top floor.

Our kitchen is well appointed and contains a wide variety of kitchen tools an amenities for your stay.

The property is best suited for couples wishing to get away from it all, however, we do also have a pull out sofa if you'd like to share with friends, family, or another couple. All guests (maximum of 4) must be registered. We DO NOT ALLOW THIRD PARTY BOOKING. The guest booking and paying for the property must be present and staying at the property. This person will also be required to securely sign a rental agreement and upload a copy of a valid ID to protect against any fraudulent credit card activity. All guests staying at the property must also be named in the rental agreement for insurance purposes. Bookings will not be confirmed until rental agreement is signed.

The Racquet Club has a year round heated lap pool and two large hot tubs. There is a good size beautiful gym facility with cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. The club also offers various fitness classes like yoga and pilates. 9+ reservable tennis courts and a pickle ball court. Locker rooms have showers, steam rooms, and saunas. There is also a small gift store inside. Guests are able to purchase day passes individually ($35/person, $15/kids) or a discounted 10 visit punch pass for $200 (adults one punch, kids 1/2 a punch per visit). The clubhouse also has an onsite restaurant & bar (hours vary) that does not require a pass to visit.

Our home is not suitable for young children. It is on the 3rd floor of a walk up building with a balcony and it has ladders to loft areas. Also some of the furniture may have hard edges, hazardous for babies, toddlers, and young kids. Also the cabinets are not locked and children could get into them and their contents which includes silverware with cooking utensils (some sharp), small appliances, cookware, general cleaning products we leave for your convenience like all purpose and glass cleaner and dishwasher detergent. Older children (approximately 8 and up) are likely mature enough to not experience the above mentioned issues as potentially hazardous. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children and children are not to be left unattended.

Getting around

Car transport is most common. Please note that vehicles with AWD are recommended while traveling through the mountains. From Sept. 1 to May 31, the Traction Law is always active on I-70 between Morrison (Red Rocks in Denver foothills) to Dotsero. Motorists can be fined $130 for driving with inadequate equipment and/or $650 if they have inadequate equipment and end up blocking the roadway with an accident. You can check the CoDOT.gov website for the most up to date information regarding traction laws. We are 1/10th of a mile (about a 2 minute walk) to free Town of Vail bus transportation.

No later than 48 hours prior to check in we will send you the exact address, any pertinent info to your stay, and your personalized door key code. Please note your key code will NOT work until check in time. Early check ins/late check outs must be requested no less than 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. We are happy to accommodate a one hour window early/late complimentary when we can, but not at the expense of our cleaning procedures between guests. If you would like to request an early or late check out beyond one hour, it will be subject to $50/hr and is subject to scheduling availability.

No pets as per the HOA rules. Service animals are not pets under ADA guidelines and can stay with their owner in pet restricted places. Please note depending on the particular disability, some persons may not find the property suitable with regard to their needs. The unit is on the top floor of a walk up building and there is no elevator. The service animal must be with their owner at all times and not left unattended. A NOTE ABOUT EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS: ESA's are considered pets and NOT protected under ADA guidelines. When someone misrepresents a pet as a service animal to get around pet restrictions it is considered fraud and is harmful to the people who truly need a service animal. We take fraud seriously and your stay will be terminated without refund, with possible damage assessments, and reported to the State of Colorado where the owner of the animal may face a legal fine.

Absolutely no smoking. Smoking in the home or next to open windows or doors that would allow smoke into the home will result in a $750 fine.

House Rules
1) Please respect our neighbors. This is a relaxing and quiet neighborhood. Please be conscious that you are in a multi unit dwelling where there could be people beside and below you. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am.

2) Absolutely no smoking of any kind inside the unit or outside the unit within 25 feet of open windows or doors. Any smoke detected will result in forfeiture of your damage deposit. If you smoke outdoors with the doors and windows closed please dispose of your buts and ash appropriately. We live in a high fire danger area, year round. Littering or flicking of butts will not be tolerated.

3) No items are EVER to be placed on the fireplace. The iron stove style of our fireplace heats up and will melt your items and damage the fireplace itself. If you put boots or items to dry/warm up on the hearth please keep a close eye on them as they can be subject to high heat and could potentially melt as well. Also, never leave fires unattended in the fireplace. Damage resulting from melted items will be charged according to the severity of the damage.

4) No illegal drugs will be tolerated. Any reports or evidence of such activities will result in an immediate termination of your reservation and forfeiture of your damage deposit.

5) No tampering with internet modem, router, cable box, any locks, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, or doorbell camera. Doing so will result in immediate termination of your reservation and reduction of your damage deposit for any fines imposed by security and fire monitoring services for tampered equipment.

6) No parties, unregistered guests, or minors left unattended. Parties will result in an immediate termination of your reservation.

7) No pets. We know this can be very sad. We LOVE fur babies and we're sure they are very good boys and girls, but pets are not allowed by renters as per HOA rules. Sneaking a pet in will result in a $300 fine plus any fines added by the HOA. We support and respect people who truly have a need for service animals and take Emotional Support Animal fraud seriously. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not protected by the ADA and in the state of Colorado, hotels and temporary lodging are not considered housing and are not subject to the Fair Housing Act which requires ADA compliance. This means that emotional support animals are not permitted to stay in a hotel room with you unless the facility is pet-friendly. Misrepresenting an ESA is a crime in Colorado and can come with fines of up to $500 from the state.

8) No hair dyeing, self tanners, or air brush tanning allowed on premises.

9) The weight limit for the loft ladder is 250 pounds. Please use caution while climbing the ladder to avoid misstep/injury. Children must be supervised while using the ladder.

10) Please use your own log ins for Smart TV/Entertainment apps and log out at the end of your stay. While we make every effort to double check the most popular apps, there are still far too many to check individually. We are not responsible if you leave yourself logged in and another guest utilizes your account. Likewise, if you discover someone left themselves logged in, please pay it forward and log them out as a courtesy before entering your personal credentials.

11) Please report any issues or damages promptly. Failure to disclose in a timely manner does not give us a chance to fix it. No refunds will be given for issues reported after check out.

12) NO THIRD PARTY BOOKING! The guest booking and paying for the property rental must be staying at the property. All guests will be required to be named for insurance purposes. The booking/paying guest will be required to securely upload a copy of valid ID to protect against any fraudulent credit card activity.

Please check that you have trip trip cancellation/trip insurance protection either from your credit card services or a third party. If not, we strongly suggest purchasing a policy to protect your investment in case of illness, emergency, weather interruption, etc. We are located in an area that can be affected by wildfire smoke in summer or snow events in winter. Refunds are only issued if there are mandatory evacuation orders in our area during the dates of your stay.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Damage deposits are collected one week prior to check in. The amount is fully refundable if no damages are present. Please take care of our property like it is your own. Penalties for rule violations (such as tampering with wifi, owner's areas, tampering with smoke detectors, smoking, pet, and occupancy violations) would be taken out of this deposit as well.

Cancel within 48 hours of booking, 100% refund.

Cancel 30+ days before booking, 75% refund.

Cancel 15-29 days before booking, 50% refund.

Cancel 7-14 days before booking, 25% refund.

Cancel 6 days or less before booking, NO refund.

Once a booking is confirmed, the dates are taken off the market for other guests. If a guest cancels we will reopen the calendar dates and if they become booked, an appropriate refund will be issued for what was able to be re-booked.

We strongly urge you to look into a trip insurance policy so that you can guarantee yourself protection in extenuating circumstances.
