Located in a safe, friendly neighborhood, this unit will give you an idea of what it's like to live like a local in Tallahassee.

Getting around

I'm less than a mile (five minutes by car or 15 minutes casual walk) to TMH & other doctors' offices, a few restaurants, and a drug store. Blair Stone Road and Magnolia Road are convenient to access shops and restaurants. A bike would be a great way to get around this area of town, and the Tallahassee Metro has a stop on Miccosukee. For FSU folks, I'm 3.5 miles from Ruby Diamond and 4.5 miles from Doak Campbell Stadium.

I've lived in Tallahassee almost all my life, and I enjoy sharing it with others. I like meeting new people and creating comfortable spaces for them. Each one of these properties has a special meaning to me. I've worked as a banker, a bookkeeper, and a teacher, and right now I split my time between short term rental properties, working for a real estate investor, and parenting my 5 year old.

When my family and I travel, it's usually to visit family or friends. If I get to pick a place to stay, I want a big comfy bed to sleep in late and a balcony or deck with a view of the ocean.

Guests may not participate in any illegal activities in any of my spaces, indoor or outdoor, including recreational cannabis consumption. Medicinal cannabis users need to inform me before they book of their intended use. In addition, guests may not smoke or vape any substances indoors at any time. Violation of either of these rules will result in a fine and immediate removal from property.

Sometimes people feel surprised by a host's check out instructions at the end of their stay. Here are mine, so you know up front what I'd like you to do before you leave:

1) Please place all used towels & washcloths in the bathroom.

2) Set the thermostat back to 68 degrees (winter) or 78 degrees (summer).

3) Please load and start the dishwasher.

Then shut and lock both doors when you leave.

Payment Policy

Currently accepting only Venmo. 50% of reservation due upon booking. Remainder due 5 days before check in.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds for cancellations w/in 48 hours of booking. Payment due 10 days before booking. 50% refund if cancelled 5-10 days before stay. 25% refund if cancelled 1-4 days before stay.

Notes

This house was built in the 40s, so it is quirky. Original wood floors in many rooms, an updated kitchen, and a funky older bathroom are just part of the charm!
