This 2 bedroom, 2 bath Colonnade Club villa is set on hole #6 of Shipyard Golf course, and located close to beach and tennis courts! The ground floor unit allows easy in and out with luggage, groceries, and small children. The spacious master bedroom has a comfy king bed, full window with a superb golf course view, HDTV, large walk-in closet, and a private entry to the back deck. Master bath with double sink is newly remodeled. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, HDTV, and a large, remodeled bathroom with walk-in shower. Both baths have wall mounted hair dryers and shower grab bars. The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for eating in - the dining room seats 6, and there is extra seating at the bar. The laundry room off the kitchen has a full-sized, HE washer and dryer. The living area boasts a 50-inch HDTV and DVD player. With wireless internet and free long distance (U.S.), you have all the amenities of home! Sleeper sofa, loveseat, and occasional chair create comfortable seating for bird watching, TV watching, or just enjoying the low country's lush outdoor scenery. Beach towels and beach chairs are provided on the honor system. Convenient, shady beach path gets you on the sand in 3-5 minutes by bike; 8-10 minutes on foot. Shipyard Center provides boardwalk access to the beach, outdoor showers, pet wash area, and bathrooms for day-long fun and convenience for beach activities. The beautiful beaches are unspoiled by high rise buildings.
Shipyard Plantation is the most serene of Hilton Head Island's gated plantations. The canopy provided by the giant oaks make you feel at one with nature. This area is quiet and relaxing, with miles of bicycle/walking paths. From the large back deck, you can spend an entire afternoon watching wildlife busying themselves in their lagoon habitat, or watch golfers tee off on hole #6 of the Shipyard Golf Course.

I spent a week at Van der Meer Tennis Center in Shipyard, and have enjoyed many of the area's outstanding golf courses. After playing the narrow fairways of Harbor Town Golf Links, you will have a much greater appreciation of the talented PGA golfers whose tour stops in Hilton Head in April!

You will pick up a plantation pass at the Shipyard Security Gate on bus. hwy 278. If it's between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you will also receive a beach parking pass. Once at the villa, you and all members of your party will use a code to access the front door - no keys!

Smoking is NOT allowed in the unit, on the front porch, or on the back deck.

People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.

All Colonnade Club units are privately owned; the Manager/Owner is not responsible for any accident, injury or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Manager/Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Guests should strive to keep the property and all furnishings in good order during their stay. Manager/Owner will make all reasonable attempts to repair or replace any appliance, furnishing, or hardware that may fail during Guests’ stay. Guest should only use appliances for their intended uses.

Pets: Pets are permitted only with prior approval. See Pet Addendum.

Access: Access to Shipyard Plantation is via gated security only. Passes will be pre-arranged by the Manager/Owner and may be picked up at the bus. hwy 278 security gate upon arrival. Guests must display parking pass in vehicle at all times. Vehicles should be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Towels and Linens: Bed linens plus 6 bath towels, 6 hand towels, and 6 washcloths are included for Guest use – please do not remove from the unit. Six beach towels are provided for Guest convenience and may be taken to the beach or pool. If beach towels are used, Guests should wash, dry, and fold beach towels prior to departure for next Guest use, as housekeeping does not maintain these. Guests should verify linen and towel count upon arrival and report missing items to Manager/Owner. Missing items will be charged to the Guest at $35 each.

Cleaning: End of stay cleaning is included in the rental rate, however, daily maid service is not provided.

Hot Tub: No children under the age of 18 are permitted in hot tub at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, please remember there are health risks associated with their use. Use at your own risk.

Water and Septic: Toilets will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. Emergency water shut-off valve is located in the hot water closet.

Weather: No refunds will be given for storms or mandated evacuation of the island. Vacationers should follow local and state recommendations for evacuation.


It is hereby agreed by and between the Manager/Owner and the Guest that Manager/Owner will allow Guest to have a pet in the vacation home upon and subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and this addendum. Guest hereby agrees to comply the following:

1. Guest to pay additional pet fee in the amount of $125 per week.

2. Pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Documentation from an accredited veterinarian must be provided by Guest upon request. Heartworm preventive is highly recommended.

3. Pets must be leashed at all times when outside. They are not allowed on the beach between 10 am and 5 pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

4. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse.

5. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture or beds may incur extra cleaning fees.

6. Pets are to be treated with a topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets.

7. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be added to rental rate.

8. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors.

9. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time. Pet will not be left unattended on front porch or back deck.

10. Pet should have current mobile telephone number of owner on collar so if pet becomes lost on the island, the owner may be reached.

11. Manager/Owner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury acquired by pets or humans while on the premises.

12. Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.
