Overview

The 'Cocktail Hour' is a meticulously maintained pier home located in the gated community of Oceanside Village in Surfside Beach, SC just a few miles south of Myrtle Beach. It’s only a 7 minute walk or 3 minute drive to Oceanside Villages' private beach access with parking. The 'Cocktail Hour' can accommodate 2 vehicles parked in the driveway under the pier home, no on street parking is allowed. The 'Cocktail Hour' has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with plenty of space to sleep 6 people comfortably and has WiFi. This home has been completely renovated inside and out (2013) everything from laminated hardwood flooring, windows, interior paint, siding, a deck with wheelchair ramp, furniture, and much much more.
The master bedroom has a new queen size bed, large closet, 32” flat screen TV with cable, reading lamps, alarm clock, ceiling fan, linens, blankets & pillows along with a private master bathroom with stand-up shower.
The second bedroom has two new twin beds, reading lamp, alarm clock, ceiling fan, new linens, blankets & pillows, walk-in closet with stacked washer & dryer, and iron & ironing board with the second full bathroom just off the hallway.
The newly renovated kitchen with open concept offers all the amenities of home with a new side-by-side refrigerator freezer with water/ice dispenser, full size dishwasher, microwave, 4 burner flat top electric stove with oven, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, pots, frying pans, plates, glasses, bowls, utensils and much much more. This kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare a simple breakfast to a full course meal. The kitchen has an island that offers storage and 2 bar stools for casual dining as well as a separate dining area with a table that seats 4. We also have a small computer desk for those that choose to bring their own laptop or tablet.
The open concept living room has a 50” flat screen TV with cable, DVD/CD player with a small selection of movies, radio/CD player stereo, wireless internet and a couch & loveseat. Adjacent to the living room is a separate sitting/gaming area with a futon that can sleep 2, 32” flat screen TV, Wii gaming console with a small selection of video games and a few board games as well. This area will be great for that morning cup of coffee, watching the sunset and/or for the kids to play video games on that occasional rainy day.
We also have beach chairs and small coolers for your days at the beach.
In your rental fee you will get all the amenities Oceanside Village has to offer. Things like private beach access with parking, indoor & outdoor swimming pools with adult lounge area and kids water play area coming in the spring, tennis, volleyball & basketball courts, baseball field, playground, gym/fitness room (small extra cost) and community center.
Linens are included, such as bed sheets, blankets & bath towels. We do not provide beach towels, paper products (bathroom tissue, paper towel) and soaps.

• THIS IS A NON SMOKING AND PET FREE HOME. ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN THE STORAGE UNIT.
• PLEASE DO NOT TAKE BED SHEETS, BLANKETS, OR BATH TOWELS TO THE BEACH OR POOL AREAS, IF DAMAGED THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA CHARGE.
• PLEASE DO NOT PUT DISHES AWAY DIRTY, THE NEXT GUESTS WILL APPREIATE IT
UPON DEPARTURE
• CHECK OUT IS 10:00 AM
• PLEASE PLACE ALL GARBAGE IN THE OUTSIDE RESPETICLE AND TAKE TO THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY.
• MAKE SURE STORAGE KEY IS PUT BACK ON HOOK BY ENTRY DOOR.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Fully refundable within fourteen (14) days after departure, provided the following provisions are met;
• No damage is done to the home or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear
• No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during stay
• All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in the outside trash can, and soiled dishes are cleaned.
• Keys are returned to the lock box, spare key is placed back on key holder, and home is left locked.
• All charges accrued during stay are paid prior to departure
• No linens or towels are lost or damaged
• No early check-in or late checkouts
• The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security employed by Oceanside Village

CHECK-IN TIME: After 3 PM Should you arrive after hours, a packet of information, map, and directions will be available at our Security guardhouse. NO EARLY CHECK-IN IS PERMITTED
CHECK-OUT TIME: Before 10 AM NO LATE CHECK-OUT. Due to the very tight cleaning schedules, late check-outs are not permitted. Additional days rent may be charged if the unit is not vacated and available by 10:00 am.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests is limited to six (6) persons. Guests agree rental will not be used for house/fraternal/sorority parties, or any unlawful or immoral purpose. Owner will terminate occupancy of any group or individual with all funds being forfeited, should guest be found in violation of this rule. Guest must be 25 years or older to have reservations in their name.

CONDITION OF PREMISES: Renter understands that the property is privately owned. It is rented with Owners furniture and furnishings and the Owner is not responsible providing for any additional furnishings or equipment. Although every effort will be made to secure timely repairs, should any major items or equipment malfunction, no refunds or rebates will be granted. Renter accepts the property and agrees to keep in good, clean condition and to promptly report any damage, inventory shortage, and/or repairs that need to be made to the property. Renter accepts responsibility for acts of the children, guests, and visitors.
