The Space:
The Chickadee boasts a comfortable king-sized bed, den with two tri-fold queen sofas, two lounge chairs with massagers, and a full kitchen with a pantry and dining table for six. Designed for relaxation, this space accommodates families or small groups with ease.

Guest Access:
During summer months (June-Sept, 9am-9pm, weather permitting), enjoy the 40' heated saltwater pool by the Osprey poolhouse, offering a rec room with a pool table, foosball, and infrared sauna. Wander along the walking path by Box Elder Creek and admire the Black Hills' natural beauty.

From the east on I-90: Take Rapid City Deadwood Ave exit 55 south a couple miles. At the end, take a right turn onto West Chicago which becomes South Canyon which becomes Nemo Road. Travel Nemo Road for approximately 30 minutes (16 miles) to Nemo. In Nemo, turn right into our main driveway at 12736 Nemo Rd (the big log lodge house). Follow the signs to your place.

From the west on I-90: Take Sturgis exit 32. Take Vanocker Canyon Road 16 miles south until it Ts into Nemo Road. Turn left for 1/4 mile to Nemo. In Nemo, turn left into our main driveway at 12736 Nemo Rd (the big log lodge house). Follow the signs to your place.

Sleeps 2 adults in the king bed, and 2 children in the two queen tri-fold couches in the den.

House Rules

Please take care of our home ... Just a few rules.
Check-in is 5pm, check-out is 10am. No exceptions. Please don't arrive before 5pm.
No pets are allowed in the Osprey poolhouse.
No parties, events, or outside guests.
The pool, rec-room, and our other amenities are for our use, our invited guest use, and registered guests only.
Do not wear shoes inside the house.
No feet on furniture inside or outside.
No smoking inside or out on the deck.
Use coasters or napkins on furniture.
Please place towels under booster chairs to protect upholstery from staining.
Empty your inside trash to the trash cans provided outside.
Please do not move inside or outside furniture. Moving furniture can scratch the floors and deck.
Do not move outdoor cushions off their furniture.
No fires or barbecues on the property except in our grills or propane fire-pit. Do not move the grills, especially never on to the decks. If you have plans for something else, please check with us first.
If you stain any fabric, please try to remove the stain with Shout. It is provided in the laundry room. If you can't remove the stain that way, just let us know so that we can try to remove it. Do not put item through the washer and dryer .. that sets the stain.
Music is for your enjoyment and not to be heard by everyone in the valley.
The Pool and Rec Center are shared space, so please keep it orderly. Follow pool rules posted at the pool.

Refundable Damage Deposit

The security deposit will be promptly refunded upon checkout, provided there is no damage or excessive cleaning needed at the property.

You can cancel up to 30 days before the check-in date for a full refund.
