Overview

House is located on an incline and requires stairs to access the house. 2 entry points located to the left (kitchen) or to the right (living room). Both doors are outfitted with keyless keypad locks for your convenience. There are 5 total beds in the unit -- 2 queens, 2 twins and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen comes complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave and basic essential kitchenware. There is currently no dishwasher. A workstation with a WiFi connected printer is located in the kitchen as well. The house is equipped with cable TV and high speed internet. Newly installed AC is located in the living room / dining area and each room has a room fan to help circulate air. Private Washer / dryer located near the entrance of the kitchen. There is also a gas grill available behind the house. 3 car carport towards the front of the property (1 stall reserved for guest in rear cottage). Street parking is also fairly easy and available if needed, but please be mindful of neighbors who rely on space as well.


Guests Access
You will have access to the entire house and grounds around the house except for the empty fenced lot above the garage. Due to safety liability reasons we ask that you refrain from accessing this area.


Interaction with Guests
I can be as available or unavailable as guests prefer. I may come by periodically to upkeep the landscape and finish other small jobs around the property. I will do my best to be available 24/7 especially for emergency repairs or needs.


Other things to note
*The State of Hawaii and the city of Honolulu employ a 4.712% GE (general excise) and 10.25% TA (Transient Accommodation) tax. Total taxes of 14.96% will be charged on top of the total booking invoice unless stated otherwise.

*All guests are required to sign a guest agreement prior to or during check-in.

*Surfboards + SUP boards* are available for rent. Please ask if interested.

*Private Surf Lessons* can also be arranged upon request


The Neighborhood
Palolo Valley is an up and coming area that is slowly seeing more young working professionals and families make it their home. Just behind Waikiki and nextdoor to University of Hawaii—it makes the neighborhood an attractive destination for those who want the access, but not the costs.

The house is a short drive from “Waialae Ave” where a lot of up + coming businesses are popping up. A few notables include Brew’d craft pub, Breadshop, Mud Hen Water and Town Restaurant.


Getting Around
While a car would be most ideal—a short uber or lyft to Waikiki and downtown is definitely possible. There are also bus stops along the main road from the house.
