Carriage House at Greystone Manor - Cambria

We welcome you to the Carriage House, the guest house of Greystone Manor, which is nestled in the middle of the quaint seaside village of Cambria, California. Come sit on the private patio, enjoy the shade of the moss-draped oaks and Monterey pines. Listen to the wind whisper through the trees while listening to the calls of woodpeckers and wild turkeys. At night, enjoy the sounds of the ocean, gaze at the vast array of stars with our telescope, and listen to the serenade of the great horned owls. After an evening of peaceful slumber, enjoy our welcome basket, full of locally brewed coffee, teas, and baked goods. We invite you to allow the quiet serenity of the Carriage House to hit the pause button on life, to relax, reflect, and soak in the beauty of the Central Coast.

The Carriage House is an original building of the estate, constructed circa 1930. Originally, it was used as a carriage house and stable. After the era of horse and buggy had passed, it was remade into a guest house. This charming unit now sleeps 4 people and has been a favorite amongst our previous guests. Private and cozy, this space gives you room to relax and truly unwind. The main room is a studio, with a king-sized bed, dresser, and seating area. The loft has two built-in twin beds. It also has a kitchenette and a bathroom with a large shower, and has been recently updated with a gas furnace, making it even more cozy and inviting. The Carriage House has a private entrance separate from the Manor, along with a large natural yard dotted with oak trees and stately Monterey pines. This secluded sunny enclave is nestled against a 1500-acre forested ranch. Enjoy the serenity of ancient moss-draped live oaks, wandering herds of Black-tailed deer, and laughing woodpeckers at the edge of a rare Monterey pine forest.
