Cabin In The Woods - Arnold

Enjoy a rustic, mountain getaway with modern amenities in a newly built, custom home! Arnold is a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Bay Area and 2 hours from Sacramento. Arnold is the "heart" of the Sierra Nevadas. You'll find yourself amongst the famed Big Trees State Park, 15 minutes from Murphys, and 40 minutes from Bear Valley Ski Resort.

Upon entering the cabin you'll find a warm, open floor plan that starts with a living room and feeds into the kitchen. The high ceilings and fireplace elicits a coziness that will make you feel right at home. The living room has two couches, including a couch that has dual recliners. The kitchen has all things a chef will need. It is equipped with pots, pans, a cast iron skillet, coffee maker, blender, cooking pans, cutting boards, knives, measuring cups.... the owner of the cabin loves cooking and this is easily reflected in how well stocked the kitchen is! You will also find your basic spices and pantry staples.

Down the hallway is a bathroom, bedroom with walk-in closet, and the master bedroom with attached bathroom and two closets. Between the two bedrooms is a washer/dryer for your convenience. Each bedroom has their own TV and dresser set. The master bedroom hosts a king sized bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed set: twin over full, with a pull out trundle if needed. All rooms have premium mattresses and linens.

There is a studio available to rent in addition to the house. To access the studio you climb the stairs behind the detached garage and find a welcoming room that has a queen sized bed, full bathroom, TV, dresser, and kitchenette (mini fridge, sink and 2 burner stove).

In the backyard you will find a large picnic table, barbeque, and firepit. Bistro lights surround the front patio and back deck and are hard wired in; just flip a switch and you're ready to go!

The amount of activities to do in Arnold are endless. Lakes, rivers, trails, mountains, wineries, breweries, restaurants, and local shops abound the area. We will provide a binder filled with recommendations on all these things at the cabin! We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we do.
