Situated in a quiet location in the attractive little market town of Fishguard on the Pembrokeshire coast, Brodog Court is a modern townhouse in a small mews-type development. Grouped around a communal courtyard with a fountain and individually allocated parking, it has been architect designed using reclaimed bricks and Victorian-style elements but incorporating every modern convenience including Wi-Fi. Featuring a contemporary yet welcoming living area on the first floor, and views of the surrounding area from the top floor, Brodog Court offers flexible holiday accommodation for couples, families and friends.

On the ground floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, ideal for couples or older children. The bright and airy living space on the first floor consists of living and eating areas, plus a well-equipped kitchen with French windows opening onto a decorative balcony. On the top floor is a spacious master bedroom with a high pitched ceiling and wall-mounted TV, a family bathroom and a children's room with bunk beds and travel cot available.

Brodog Court has full central heating with individual thermostats on all the radiators. There is also luxurious underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The modern boiler ensures that hot water is available on demand at all times. A key is provided to the communal storeroom, accessed by a separate door to the left of the front door. Bikes, surfboards and other large items can be stored here.

We are happy to offer discounts for couples sharing one bedroom on all stays except in peak season. Please send an enquiry and we will send you a quote with the discount applied.

Children and babies are welcome at Brodog Court. Available equipment includes a travel cot, high chair and stair gate. If you have very small children, please be aware that it is a three storey property with the main living area on the first floor; we would advise locking the French windows and closing the fire door to the staircase when using this space.

There is one allocated parking space in the courtyard at Brodog Court. If you are bringing more than one car, there is unrestricted and safe parking just outside in Brodog Terrace.

We first visited West Wales over Easter in 2006 when we stayed in a friend's holiday cottage. Before we left we had fallen in love with the area and had bought Brodog Court! Between us we've lived and worked on five different continents, Jennifer as a teacher and Neil as a zoologist. Jennifer now works as a Museum and Heritage Learning Specialist in London and Neil as a Senior Researcher at Oxford University but we stay at Brodog Court ourselves whenever we can.

Policies and Rules

We will send you the keycode in the week before your holiday so that you can let yourselves in. Brodog Court is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and we ask you to vacate by 10:30 a.m. on your day of departure.

Payment Policy
Bookings made more than six weeks in advance, require a 20% deposit to secure the let within 7 days. The remainder of the payment should be made no later than six weeks before the beginning of the let. We reserve the right to re-let Brodog Court if full payment has not been made, in which case any deposit will be retained. Bookings made within six weeks of a let must be accompanied by payment in full.

Payments can be made via cheque or by direct bank transfer. We have the facility to take payment by PayPal; however, the fees levied by them mean that we must unfortunately make a charge of 3.5% per transaction.

We are happy to offer discounts for couples sharing a bedroom, except in the peak summer season. Please send us an enquiry and we will send you a quote with the discount applied.
Refundable Damage Deposit
The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days of your holiday provided that Brodog Court and its contents have been treated with respect!
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your holiday, we will attempt to re-let the property. If successful we will give you a refund less 10%, otherwise all payments received will be forfeited.
House Rules
The maximum number of guests permitted is 6 (maximum of 4 adults), plus one infant under 2 years of age.

Guests must complete, sign and return our booking form to us with the names and ages (if under 18) of all members of their party.

Getting around

A car is recommended but not essential. There is an excellent bus service from Fishguard and a train station at nearby Goodwick. The Stena Line ferry service runs between Fishguard and Rosslare (Ireland).
