Overview

Wake up in the master bedroom suite to a magnificent view of the Case Inlet and the Olympic Mountains! The queen sized bed is pillow topped with luxurious high count, 100% cotton sheets. The living room possesses a fully stocked kitchen with all amenities and some gourmet extras including a waffle maker, coffee grinder (with some delicious coffee supplied), toaster and a blender. The queen sized pull out bed faces the view as well as the electric fireplace and media center with WIFI. The flat screen TV (with college and NFL channels), a DVD player and a Roku (with complimentary Netflix). We also have some games, cards and a library for your pleasure, choose a book and if you have not reached the ending by your departure, take it with you! Compliments of Breezy Hideaway. Available as well are thick sleeping pads for extra guests and / or for camping. We may only sleep 6 in the winter, but in summer we up that number to 10 as 2 can sleep in the cabana and 2 more in a tent! We haven't purchased the tent, yet so bring your own.Just outside your door is a table that seats 4 to 6 for meals made on a gas grill or in your state of the art kitchen. The patio is large with lounge chairs, a couch and outdoor heater and several seating areas. A beautiful private pathway that leads down to your hideaway from the parking area. A lushly landscaped pebbled path meanders down to the beach and a fire pit on the bulkhead. There are many private nooks for relaxing, or to sleep under to stars. Enjoy a fire in the pit, roast marshmallows or swing in the hammock and watch the sunset over the water. Walk for miles on Case Inlet's most pristine beach, dig clams and oysters or go for a row in 1 of our kayaks or the canoe. Buying a shellfish license is a good idea, no one has been stopped yet but you never know! Sleep in the unit or on the bulkhead in the cabana, May through Sept, weather permitting! Pitch a tent above the beach or on the lawn!
Only property on the South Puget Sound with beachfront and an in ground private pool! Pool is open from mid May to mid September.
Take a ferry or drive to Seattle and play for the day or cheer on your team! Or a day trip to Mt Rainer, The Olympic National Forest (which you can view from the rental) or Crystal Mountain Resort
Owners Yaponcha and Deanne are available for any needs or questions you may have. The Hideaway is the lower level of the home. It has been structurally remodeled as to be completely separate from the main house and offer the most privacy.

We also have a Costco, premium blow up queen, a twin futon, and Corduroy Queen that unzips out of a puffy chair. From May to Sept. the Queen bed is set up in the cabana on our bulkhead. We supply extra sheets, blankets, 2 sleeping bags, pads for outdoor sleeping (no tent yet, bring you own), 8 pillows and a ton of indoor and outdoor throws for snuggling on the patio or at the fire pit. We supply a continuous source of bath sheets and all your bathing needs.There is a canoe and 2 kayaks for you please and 6 adult life jackets. At the pool, open from 5/15 to 9/10 we have a dining area for your please, pool mats and toys, loungers and a fireplace! Breezy's kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful dishes and everything you'll need to prepare meals. Our pantry is extensive with many spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pancake mix and pure maple syrup, soy sauce, A1, tabasco, pop corn, hot chocolate, burger fixings and a cube of butter.

Breezy Hideaway has 6 levels which are all pen to our guest. top is parking, next is pool and owners house, then you rental with private path,entrance, patio, herb garden and lounge area with outdoor heater and a outdoor lounge area (2 loungers on beach gravel), a beautiful landscaped path leads you to the fire pit are, then there are stairs (with railings) to 100 ft of bulkhead where you'll find seating areas and the cabana, lastly is the beach!

Getting around

Our guests definitely need a car here. we are only 15 minutes from Gig Harbor (an quant marina town) but we are still quite rural.If you are planning a day trip to Seattle, it should take about 1 hour if you choose to drive. But taking the ferry from Bremerton (25 minutes from here) to downtown plan for 11/2 hr trip with most of it being on the Puget Sound. Tacoma (30 minute trip) is the home of the world famous Glass Museum and many gourmet lover's restaurants. Or visit the Pt Defiance zoo and aquarium and have dinner on Rustin Ave at one of the yummy waterfront restaurants.

My husband and I met on the island of Guam, but we are both from the Bay Area. He was a tennis pro at a 5 star hotel and I was in the tourist industry. I cut my foot while swimming in the hotel pool, he bandaged me up and the rest is history! We moved to the Pacific Northwest because I went to college here and still had some close friends in Seattle. We also both loved the rugged beauty of this area and wanted to raise our son here. It was a wise move. Yaponcha found work in the construction supply industry, I became a paraeducator in Special Education and our son, Atlee, grew and thrived. Breezy Hideaway is a home on the property I inherited and sharing the serenity of this magical place gives us joy. So, thank you in advance for choosing to stay!

Check in is at 4PM and check out is at 11AM, but you can always ask for whatever you need. You will receive detailed directions and the key code before your arrival.

Minimum age limit for renters: 21

We say 21 as we want an adult on the premises. We realize 18 is legally an adult, but they are not legal for everything!

Payment Policy

I will add more payment options as I get them. Booking early allows you to just mail me a check, which is the least costly way to go! We also have paypal, setting up square or just book through Houfy!

Refundable Damage Deposit

The winter rate is 150.00 and the rate changes to 250.00 during the summer from May 15th to Sept 10th. This is due to the pool being heated during those months and the cabana set up and sleep-able!
Please leave the rental as you found it. We refund your deposit after cleaning.

Cancellation Policy

We give a full refund within 30 days of booking, 1/2 the booking amount will be returned up to 3 weeks out and after that we only refund your deposit.
