Black Bear Pines - Shenandoah

In the heart of Shenandoah, the cabin is nestled in the backroads and waiting for you to come visit. Any time of year is great, with private river access, a fire pit, and outdoor seating, you can enjoy nature during any season. Just 30 minutes from Luray, 20 minutes from Mt. Jackson, and 25 minutes to Massanutten Resort with golf, snow sports, a water park, and adventure park, you will be close enough to enjoy all that Shenandoah Valley has to offer. When driving to the cabin you'll follow along the Shenandoah River. Gorgeous woodlands, scenic landscapes and private river access will lead you to the gravel backroads that wind up the side of a mountain. You will find a fire pit and wood outside for your use. The covered front porch has Adirondack chairs to enjoy your coffee or a sweet tea (or something stronger!) and look out over the mountain side.

Inside the cabin is very spacious! The kitchen has plenty of room and is well stocked with all of the items you might need during your stay including a dishwasher, Keurig and drip coffee maker. The living room has two comfy leather couches that you can sink into while you're relaxing after a long day of exploring the Valley. Out back you can find a deck with plenty of seating for dinner or just enjoy the fresh air.

The bedroom on the main level has a full size bed with a comfy thick mattress and a closet to hang your clothes. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a sitting area. The sitting area has two velvet chairs that overlook the serene mountainside outback. In this sitting area there is also a twin futon that can be used for sleeping arrangements. The two upstairs bedrooms have queen sized beds, each with a TV and storage for clothes. There is also one toddler bed, for those traveling with kids. There are two full bathrooms in this cabin. The upstairs bathroom also has a washer and dryer for your use.

You will have full access to the main house on the property while you are there. The garage and shed are locked and for owner's use.

This is a private neighborhood with river access located on the side of a mountain. AWD is recommended.

This house operates on septic and well water. Please be kind to our drains and only flush toilet paper and natural substances.
