Welcome to "Beach Bliss"! This spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is located in the Dune Pointe building on quiet Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL (next door to Destin.) We love this location so much we own three condos in the Dune Pointe building!

We purchased this condo in January 2018 and have since renovated the condo. We have had new tile floors installed throughout and the entire interior has been freshly painted. We purchased new mattresses for the beds and some new furniture, new linens/bedding/towels and everything needed for a fully-stocked kitchen. The professional photographs on this listing showcase the beautiful "after" results. We are very happy with the condo and we know our guests are going to love their stay at Beach Bliss.

EXPERIENCED VACATION RENTAL OWNERS – WHY WE BOUGHT THIS CONDO

We love the Dune Pointe Condominium building because at 1285 square feet the units are some of the most spacious that we found during our property search. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax without feeling cramped or on top of each other.

Additionally, Dune Pointe is a low-density building, with only 20 units. This means that our guests will have plenty of room on the private beach since they will be sharing it with just 19 other units, unlike most other condo buildings that have many more units.

DIRECT BEACHFRONT LOCATION – NO ROADS TO CROSS

Because of this building's location (directly on the beach) our guests have access to the beach just a short walk over the dunes using the private walkway. You will not have to pack up your car to drive to a public beach access, nor carry your equipment, coolers, etc. across a road to the beach. As a service for our guests, your stay at Beach Escape includes a reservation for two beach chairs and one umbrella set up each day on the beach just for you (March 1 through October 31).

PERFECT FOR SMALL FAMILIES OR TWO COUPLES TRAVELING TOGETHER

The master bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed, a 32" flat screen TV & DVD player, a roomy walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted whirlpool tub for a relaxing soak after a long day in the sun! There is also a walk-in shower and a vanity with one sink in this bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, 32" flat screen TV & DVD player. The hall bathroom is located next to the 2nd bedroom and has a combination tub/shower and a vanity with one sink.

Quality linens, bedding and fluffy bath towels, hand towels and washcloths are provided for your use. (We do NOT provide beach towels, however. If you don't want to pack your own you can buy inexpensive beach towels at one of the many beach stores in the area.) There is a hair dryer in each bathroom.

The spacious living area features extra-wide sliding doors that welcome the awesome Gulf view into the room. You will find comfortable seating in the living room, along with a 55" flat screen TV & DVD player. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, suitable for 2 small children or one larger child/teen or adult.

The dining room table seats six people.

The kitchen features black granite counters, stainless appliances and is stocked with dishes, glassware, flatware, pots & pans, coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven and dishwasher…. everything needed to please the chef in your family!

For your convenience there is a full-sized washer/dryer in the utility closet. You will also find 2 Beach Chairs & a Boogie Board in this closet for your enjoyment during beach season.

NOTE: During Spring Break (March - mid-April) and Summer (mid-May - mid-August) we have a 7 night minimum requirement, arriving on Saturday and departing on Saturday. If you create a booking during these dates that does not arrive and depart on a Saturday we will be not be able to accept the booking. Thanks for your cooperation.

YOUR HEALTH IS OUR CONCERN

Our condo is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Our housekeeping service uses CDC approved antibacterial cleansing agents and focuses on frequently touched surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, deadbolts, remote controls, light switches, countertops, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.

Additionally our condo has been equipped with a REME HALO® whole home in-duct air purifier, which according to the manufacturer "is the next generation of indoor air quality (IAQ) technology and capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that your central air conditioning system reaches. Thoroughly tested on airborne and surface bacteria & viruses, such as MRSA, e-coli, and Norwalk, to name a few."

Because our building is so small (20 units) there are fewer people using the elevator and common areas than you'll find in larger buildings. This also means there are fewer beach chairs & umbrella sets on our beach which are set up with at least 6 feet between each set.

DUNE POINTE BUILDING AMENITIES

The building has plenty of parking in front and also an elevator for the convenience of our guests. There is an area on the side of the building that has a charcoal barbecue grill that our guests can use when they wish to cook out. (Guests must provide their own charcoal for the grill.)

A beautiful, sparkling swimming pool is located in the back between the building and the beach. For those who don't care to sit on the beach there are lounge chairs on the deck around the pool. Please play safely and supervise children at all times; there is not a lifeguard on duty at this pool.

There are restrooms available for our guests' use in the pool area, which means you don't have to go all of the way up to the condo to use the bathroom when enjoying the beach. When you are finally ready to go inside for the day you can rinse off all of the sand and salt water at the outdoor shower.

The swimming pool at Dune Pointe is generally heated for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's holidays. In the coldest winter months (January, February & first two weeks of March) the pool is not heated because the outdoor temperature is generally too cold for the heater to keep up. The pool is again heated during spring break (last two weeks of March). At all times, if the outdoor temperature falls below 45 degrees the pool is not heated.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Guest receives 100% (less $100.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (less $100.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival. If you are entitled to a refund it will be paid to you via Venmo, Zelle or a mailed check. We do not issue refunds to credit cards.

•You are willing to sign a copy of our rental agreement which will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed

•You are not a smoker

•You do not want to bring a pet

•Your party does not consist of more than 6 people

•If your booking includes a security deposit instead of our default "Damage Waiver fee" you agree to read the information on our rental agreement about "Security Deposit Hold" to understand how that process works and how it will affect the card that was used to make your payment.
