Location
The Teakwood House - Doi Saket Vacation Home is located in the middle of rice fields about 14 km outside Chiang Mai town center. The climate in this part of Thailand is nice cool nights in wintertime and nice warm in the daytime, north of Chiangmai are mountains and hot springs where you can enjoy bathing and Thai massage and local Thai food and drinks.
Thailand is a country with friendly people and tasty food the location of the resort gives you plenty of possibilities to visit the northern part of Thailand, the province of Chiangmai has caves and mountains up to 2500 meters high.
North of Chiangmai is Chiangrai province here you can make excursions to the Golden triangle with a boat trip to Laos and the most northern point of Thailand on the Burmese ( Myanmar ) border.
Just outside Chiangrai, there are the Hill tribe people and the Mae Fah Luang gardens, N-W of the Chiangmai province, and the village Fang in the Doi Mae Salong area where lots of Chinese origin people live with enormous tea plantations.
Around Fang, in the Chiangmai province, you will find orange and litchi plantations

We provide transfer service to and from your place of arrival at low costs, free transfer to the Highway ( 1 kilometer) from there cheap song taew taxi service to and from Chiang Mai city.

My name is Emiel Israel but they call me 'Max'
My Thai wife is Saowanit Bualuang-Israel nicknamed 'Lha' she is an excellent cook.

Max is since January 1992 living in Thailand and Lha Fang was born in a village 150 kilometers north of Chiang Mai
We 'running' since 2005 a homestay and in 2011 moved to a new location about 4 kilometers from Our first location was Sanpapao on the outskirts of a small village.
Now we have more than 2500 M 2 land on which houses are a Traditional Thai Teak house rebuilt in 2012 a 30 year old house herein are 3 rooms, and our new building in which two homestay rooms.
We wish you a warm welcome in Sanum.

Check In: Flexible

There will be someone to hand over the keys check-in is at 14.00 and check-out at 11.00. When available early check-in and late check-out at low costs. Use of energy has to be paid at check-out

Because the house is on stilts , it is not suitable for small children safety first !

House Rules

• We ask our guests to respect the check out time, 11.00 am on the day of departure. When late check-out if it's possible, we charge 500 THB. Please mention this request. • You can leave your luggage at our depot. • Additional guest(s), not registered at the time of check-in will be subject to identification/registration and a 400 THB charge • For shorten stays/early checkouts, we charge the full amount of the total cost of stay. • Store valuables in the safe or take them with you when go out. Keep your room-key with you during your stay. • Breakfast is served from 07.00 am till 10 am.. • Room, mini-bar, restaurant and all other charges have to be paid before check out. • We only accept Thai Baht currency. • The guesthouse can not be held responsible for any injuries and accidents. • Trips and tours booked through our staff will be at your own responsibility. • Renting, motorcycles, or bicycles from the guesthouse will be at your own risk and responsibility. • We strongly recommend that you check your insurance policy for your activity. • Lha's Place cannot be held responsible for any activity cancellation or restitution. • Thank you for choosing us, enjoy your stay.

Payment Policy

Booking Terms :
25% of Total room amount or the first night to be transferred by PayPal or Bank transfer.
Any additional fees ( bank fees, transfer fees etc ) need to be paid at the time of transferring the room amount
Room booking will be confirmed when advise is received that the money has been sent.

Refundable Damage Deposit

In case of damage inform the owner and repairs will be made depending on the type of damage the renter has to pay for the repairs immediately.

Cancellation Policy

Guests canceling up to 4 weeks before the start of the holiday will receive a refund of 50% of the balance payment.
In case of no-show no refund
In case of a split payment, the booking deposit is always non-refundable.
