Dan and I became acquainted with short-term rentals in 2005, when our family bought a second home in McCloud, CA. We loved the idea of buying a home that allowed us to enjoy the small town right from our front porch, and have everything we needed within a short walking or biking distance. Restoring and renovating Toad Hollow has been a remarkable journey, and we absolutely love sharing it with families from all over the world. After all these years, we are still discovering new places to explore, and never grow tired of the beauty of the changing seasons, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, mountains, and trails.
