My wife and I have been vacationing since 1977 in Myrtle Beach. We rented the same house in Long Bay Estates for 25 years. This is just a few miles North of Surfside Beach next to the State Park. Early one morning in the summer of 2002, I took a drive south into Surfside Beach. My first impression of the town was " Wow, this place is nice. Why hadn't we been in here before?"
So a couple more mornings I did the same routine but this time looking for a possible place to buy. That's when I found Seawalk 2.
