Enjoy a visit with your family to the Red Apple Barn near Ellijay which is about 15 minutes from Campfire Cabin. You can pick apples, pumpkins, flowers, play games, or have a picnic. Their farm store has apple pies, fritters, bread, caramel and candied apples, jams and jellies, honey, and apple cider. The farm has been in the family since 1927.

For over 75 years, the Mercier family has been welcoming visitors to taste the fruits of the mountains, and the yummy fried pies, apple cider, apple butter and fritters that come from the fruit! Mercier Orchard is considered the largest apple orchard in the southeast and is literally minutes from Campfire Cabin in the heart of Blue Ridge!
